I live in P Town and whenever the weather gets hot, like now, my thoughts go straight to Salt $ Straw. Always a line and always worth the wait.

The line here was pretty long which we took as a really good sign. After seeing it on Yelp, I really wanted to try it out. I had the lavender on a waffle cone and it was amazing. Even though it was insanely packed, the staff was helpful and friendly and I didn't feel rushed at all. The process was... More

If you love the NW berries and flavors this ice cream is for you. Expect to wait 15 min or so for the ice cream on warm days or late nights.

Salt & Straw have really good & interesting ice cream flavors and they are good! But they are not too exotic sounding or tasting for you not to want and try it.

I don't have an adventurous palate although I like to pretend I do. I was with a group of people on like a Tuesday night and the line was down the street. We waited for approximately 20 minutes. My small group of three each purchased two flavors for a palate explosion. I didn't love all the flavors I tried but... More

This place was on my "have to" list of places to visit. Glad I did. They had very interesting flavors of ice cream/sorbet. I had the green apple/wasabi sorbet which sounds weird, but it was very refreshing. The wasabi flavor wasn't pungent as one would think it would be, but had a sweet, subtle taste. I have to go back... More

Delicious -- and walking distance too! What more could one want? I want to try every single one of their exotic combination flavors, no matter how peculiar they sound!

The ice cream here is not your typical ice cream! They have flavors I would never think to mix but they are delicious! I had the Pear and Blue Cheese while my husband had the strawberry balsamic and black pepper. Both were wonderful!
