Super place, cheap eats, friendly staff. We were on our way downtown when we stopped in for a bevey... We each ordered a flight, great beer, and a large portion! 🍻👍

We stopped in here for beer & pizza on a recent trip to Portland. Now, I have been cursed with a aversion to gluten, which is especially horrendous because pizza is my favorite food. I've had edible GF pizzas, but never anything to write home about... until now. I had to actually compare my pie to my husbands, because I... More

Great hole int he wall place to catch a second release flick! Good (but not great) selection of beers - a typical McMenamins. Food is a step below most pubs in Portland (again McMenamins is stuck in 1992), however the service here is better than most McMenamins, and is a cozy place to catch a movie or game while having... So to be fair let me clarify. The locations for ALL Mcmennamins are located in great locations, and they are beautifully decorated and are always fun to go to and see. My husband and I are working our way through the passport which has been fun. But one thing that they ALL have in common so far is they ALL... More

The McMenamins have a well-deserved reputation as preservationists, repurposing old buildings for the enjoyment of others. And they offer their venues for community projects and presentations. Here, here! But many of their properties, including the Mission Theater, have equally deserved reputations for poor service and mediocre food. The McM's seem to get a pass for this, either because of their... More

First of all, a note to TripAdvisor: you've misspelled McMenamins in your listing, and it impedes the search for those wanting to write a review of this establishment. Secondly, since my date and I only went for the concert and had already had appetizers and drinks somewhere else, we did not order any food or drink from the bar. I... More

Where can you see a first run movie for $2 while you eat dinner and sip a good local microbrew? I mean, c'mon. I guess you could say that the Mission is part of the "Keep Portland Weird" culture. But it's really fun. The food is typical McMennamin's Pub grub, so if you're a died in the wool 'foodie', this... More
