Walked in, the place was less than a third full and were told to sit anywhere. We picked a table near the bar. The server brought waters, then the waiting began. Ten minutes to place an order, twenty minutes to get drinks. The server actively avoided eye contact with all of the patrons. Had to work with the bar to... More

We went there just for oysters and were delighted. Tried them all and couldn't decide which we liked better so ordered another round. Really enjoyed this place

I went here for a mid afternoon snack. The oysters were great. Outdoor seating was nice. Service was quick. Prices were reasonable. Definitely will be back. Great date place for casual dining!

A fun New Orleans atmosphere. I ordered fried chicken and it was just OK, somewhat overcooked and tough. My wife's oysters were good. Looks like a great place to meet up with friends and have fun. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a neighbourhood eatery with a shack ambiance. It felt like we walked into a former workshop of some kind. The al-fresco area is like being on a five foot way outside somebody's shop house. The bar is located on a mezzanine floor. It was a Friday. We had no reservations but arrived slightly earlier than the Friday evening... More

Went for lunch and had shrimp po'boy - my husband had an oyster po-boy. Pretty good EXCEPT for some strange sauce (billed as their special sauce) that overwhelmed the taste. My husband is a NOLA native and we've had more food there than we could tally -- and never had a sauce like this before. That said, will try again...asking... More

I recommend their fried okra, oyster po' boy and pecan pie though every dish I've tried has been amazing. The live music is another perk.

My husband and I went here a little over 2 weeks ago. We ordered the pickle chips to start. And it was really salty. My husband loved them. I ordered the Jambalaya and was very disappointed. I was expecting some spicy flavorful cajun food. It was bland Oregon-ized cajun food. The only good part was the oysters in it. We... More

Another recent disappointment was this funky place located along N. Williams St. Went with friends for dinner. It is has a southern/Cajun influence. We all tried something different. Seafood gumbo was relatively good but more oysters in the stew than anything else. Red beans and rice was blah and needed to be spiced with our table sauces. The jambalaya was... More

Great food. Service was good but not great, a little impersonal. But over all we loved the time there. We had oyster shooters( el hombre) Raw oysters,(Tilamock which were very good) frog legs( also very good I liked the breading on it) and fried pickles(which we loved). Home made ranch is amazing!! (we're ranch people and we loved it and... More
