Super Cool Place. Excellent Beer, Amazing Food and Fantastic Service. We had the Huckeberry Wheat Beer. If you like A Heff this is a must try.

Good atmosphere, good food, decent selection of beers. We had good service. Really good orices on the beers. No brained to get the 20oz beer as it’s just $1 more than the 12oz

We picked this restaurant for the outdoor dining so we could bring our dog. Check in inside and take one of three tables outside. The service was fantastic as was the food. The wife had the au jus sandwich with cole slaw and I had...the brisket sandwich with cole slaw. The food was fantastic and so were the beers. They also brought our dog a bowl of water. Highly recommend. We will be coming through Pendleton again in about a month and will definitely visit this pub then.More

Brisket sandwich and fries were just ok. I liked the pickles, The burger was substandard. Fried cauliflower was nice. Service was above average. Enjoyed the atmosphere but the old building does little to mute the volume.

Our group of 15 stopped here for lunch following our visit/tour of the Pendleton "Underground." We had made reservations and the staff were waiting for us when we arrived. They'd set us up in a separate room and the accommodation for us was great. The...service was spectacular! We ordered our beverages and there were almost immediately on the table before us. Then we ordered our food, and it was delivered within ten minutes, which surprised all of us. We were there on a Saturday during the "lunch hour," so we weren't their only customers. We've rarely received such speedy, accurate, and good service on any of our group outings. Take time to stop here and enjoy their products and staff service.More

Enjoyed our dinner and beer sampling at Prodigal Son. Service was attentive and friendly. Very down home place with a lot of character. Beer options are good.

Absolutely the worse meal I've had. Fries were burnt, fish was over cooked and something you could have picked up at a cheap grocery store. We will not go back.

Fun historic location, attentive wait staff, delicious and generous food portions, and top-notch beer provided us with just what we needed after a long day of traveling. Highly recommend the cauliflower appetizer and fish tacos!

We stopped in for dinner during our overnight stay in town. We asked what they are known for and were told their beef brisket and beer selections. Their portions are large so we chose to split a beef brisket sandwich and each had a side...salad. The meal was delicious and there was plenty of food for the two of us. Often times I have a hard time finding a beer at a brew pub because they are often too heavy and dark for my taste. I was pleased to find they had very light ale named A Beer Named Sue. Our server, Corey, was very friendly and visited with us for awhile, giving us recommendations of things to see in town. We would definitely come back if in the area.More

Our server was delightful, friendly and spot-on with her food & drink recommendations. Both their IPA and Hefeweizen were excellent. The Fried Chicken sandwich and Philly Cheese steak sandwich were great. Will make this a for sure stop next time we get through Pendleton!

We were just passing through town to gas up and saw this interesting and historic building so decided to stop for a beer. While we were enjoying refreshing seasonal brews at the bar, we saw great-looking food going out, so decided to order that as...well. Who would've thought we could find a delicious seafood Captain's Platter almost 300 miles from the ocean? We did at The Prodigal Son Brewery and Pub! No wonder they have won awards and everyone there seems so happy. Good times!More

In town for only a night and with few open options for sit down meal due to Covid. Neat old building in historic area of town. Amount of tables greatly reduced for distancing but luckily we timed it right and had no wait. Son and...I both had Mac and split a side of fries, both fries and Mac were great. Didn’t have a beer since I was afraid I’d fall asleep after driving 11 straight hours but will definitely return.More

Good food, all except for the fries. I think we got all the tiny ones at the bottom of the bag. Restaurants need to really search out the best fries to serve, homemade are ALWAYS the best. Blue cheese on the burger was a very...strong flavor, fish was delicious in the fish and chips. Marinated olives came with the meal instead of before. Had to ask for water refills. It was clean, our server was efficient and the food was good. Would go again.More

Nice place, decent prices. Our server was nice and helpful with good suggestions. The appetizers, cheese curds and scotch egg, were tasty. Two of us had seafood lunches and they were quite good. The other two had the chicken pot pie daily special and they...were very dissatisfied. I've never seen so many peas in a chicken pot pie. Bummer.More

Chicken wings, fries, sweet potato fries, and several salads to choose from. They would probably wrap a sandwich or burger in lettuce if you asked!
