Good food and beer, inspired by english pubs. Live music. Eat inside or out on side walk. Frequented by locals. Not to be missed if in Oakridge.

This place fits Oakridge. Somewhere for locals and tourists to get together for a cold one. It's not really my kind of setting but it works real well here. I normally stop here every year. You won't be disappointed.

Fun spot to hang out, great beer, but bartender not friendly at all. I wish they would change the way they serve. After a long ride, it would be great to sit down and have a server.

They make there own brew with no Co2. Very good beer. You have to order at the bar, your beer & food. You get your beer right away & a waitress brings out your food. Lots of travelers & local hang out. We had an...More

Funky atmosphere, with great service. Although it was self-serve ordering, our good food was delivered to our table. We had our dog with us, but there was no outside table available. (Very popular place, it seems.) A very accommodating server offered to bring out a...More

The British Ale is worth a stop. The food on the other hand is average at best. I had the fish and chips. The fish was good, batter was greasy as were the fries. My husband had the burger and Poutine fries. Cheese curds were...More

Friendly, local place with great food and great beer. Our food was fresh and the place is clean. The pub fries are the best ever.

I am so excited that my husband and I decided to try this place out. The pub has the coolest vibe. The food was VERY good! We didn't try the brews, but plan to return in the future!

Cozy, rustic atmosphere that has a good lunch menu selection of sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups and more. The sweet potato fries were soft in the middle and crispy on the outside. Reuben sandwich was packed with meat. Very good choice for lunch.

I love chicken Parmesan so was looking forward to having it. The noodles were good, the chicken ok but far too little sauce and cheese. So dry. All it would've taken was a more sauce and cheese to make this passable. Disappointing.

No, but it's a fun, open atmosphere where people chat even if they don't know each other. You can play board games, other games, or read...very laid-back place.

Description
The Brewers Union Local 180, Oregon's only Real Ale Pub and Brewery, is a blend of the best of the British Public House, the American spirit of adventure, and the natural scenic beauty of Oregon's Cascade Mountains. Situated in the center of Oakridge, which along with it's neighboring city of Westfir are the only cities in Oregon completely surrounded by National Forest, you will find a throwback to when the community gathered regularly to share news, when beer was brewed in the back of the pub and pulled from the cellar out of a cask, and when the weary traveler found a cozy nook and a good meal. The Local 180 aspires to be neither a restaurant nor a bar, neither a coffeeshop nor a pool hall. You won't find any gambling machines, overbearing television sets, or blaring piped-in music. Better yet, expect to find yourself a comfortable spot in the quiet front parlor, enjoy a cup or two of good coffee and a good book, or show off battle-scars from that last downhill ride in the public bar over a pint of cask conditioned ale. You will not be processed through the typical restaurant theater, but instead you can stay as long as you wish, right up to the last orders bell.
