Lunch here was great . Shrimp stuffed avocado and oyster burger were yummy. Clam chowder was delicious. Steamer clams were disappointing, so full of grit we got a teeth cleaning. Avoid those, Kyllo's were much better. Everything else was great!

I was 13 when I met Mo, I'll not forget it. My parents put on all of the Newport festivals during the early to mid 70's, and my mother was the creator of the Seafood and Wine Festival. The very first one was almost shut down due to drunken volunteers but Mo saved the day by emptying out her restaurants... More

We enjoyed bowls of Mo's famous clam chowder and salads. We liked the new menu, which supplements the bay shrimp cabbage salad with a similar lettuce-based salad, complete with Blue Cheese. Good wholesome food in a noisy environment, served to you by a bunch of nice yet unprofessional group of servers. (Our waitress mixed up credit cards from different tables.).

Although we had about a 15 minute wait around 1 PM on a Friday afternoon it was well worth it. Service was a bit ditzy but the food was as ordered and lots of it. Would highly recommend the seafood sauté and of course, the clam chowder. I've had better but that was in Maine and that's a little bit... More

It's a great place for fresh seafood. Their clam chowder, and fish and chips are unbeatable. The prices are good, and you can alway be sure to get a satisfying meal.

Mo's doesn't look like much but is a quaint, full of history, fishing village style restaurant. The Chowder is very good as well as the fish and chips. Very nice and friendly staff. Worth a visit!

It was very busy when we were here so service was a bit slower than would have been expected. However once we were waited on, the food arrived promptly and was very good.

Mo's has the best clam chowder, by far! Every time I visit Newport, I love to get Clam Chowder at Mo's. It is especially tasty if you get it in a bread bowl. The staff are very friendly too and the food is reasonably priced.
