Amazing pastries by the owner, BEST brewed coffee we have ever had, ordered Chambord crepes and Provence omelette. Excellent food, sweet service, quaint cozy ambiance. Headed back there today and will visit every time we are near Newport.

Though quite small, this is a fabulous place for both breakfast and lunch, and we'll look forward to trying one of their dinners. On the least two occasions, lunch has been very good indeed, and the only reason for not giving the restaurant an OUTSTANDING...More
We always make a beeline to La Maison when we are in Newport. It's in a charming house off the beaten path, and has the best breakfast ever. I almost hate to leave such a glowing review, because it's a smallish place and always crowded:...More
Lunch was good. Setting was relaxed and homey. The waitress was extremely helpful and friendly; she told us about local things to do and see. The crusty bread that came with our food was DELICIOUS, and the baking aromas were very tempting.

Learned of La Maison from other tourists in the tourist information office / chamber of commerce . We just had a light lunch of a croissant sandwich and chowder but both reflected that the owners care about food and what they serve. Very good service,...More
Grabbed a late lunch on a Friday afternoon of vacation and we were impressed by the quality, friendliness and Americana/Deco style of this little place. Everything was homemade and delicious, from the clam chowder to the cake. Going back for breakfast today!
We all had a fabulous meal. The cinnamon roll, eggs Benedict (with home made english muffins), and bananas foster french toast were all superb.
