VERY fine food and superb wines. Service excellent. There is an upstairs and down. Both areas very fine dinning. Could have larger parties up stairs. Great wine selection. Everyone was impressed. Enjoy.

Had not realized it had been a while. We ate in the Bistro, which is an intimate setting in the rear of the restaurant near the bar. Based on a previous Trip Advisor review, we ordered Fish and Chips. Best fish we have had in an age. Breading was perfect. Also had an excellent Caesar salad. Joseph, our server, made... More

That's what we're all about! I'm so glad you felt at home with us, and that those fish and chips hit the spot. I'll be sure to pass along your kind words to Joseph -- I'm so thankful to have him on our team. We'd love to have you back soon for more relaxation and tasty food! Until next time,... More

What an outstanding bartender Marianna is, and the food was incredible! We went in to celebrate our Anniversary and were just going to have a cocktail there and move on to another restaurant for dinner, but because Marianna took such good care of us, we stayed for dinner at J’Ville Inn. The location is a step back in time to... More

We had dinner here with a large group after a celebration of life service. The service was excellent. The food was good but not exactly remarkable considering the prices. Wine pours are a little small. Decor is very outdated throughout the whole building, still hanging on to their victorian theme. The staff however are very good and service is terrific.

I am pleased that Dawn enjoyed our staff and service. We do have a great group of employees working in the dining room and in the kitchen. We receive many favorable comments on a daily basis. Our wines by the glass are served in the large wine glasses that could hold 1/2 a bottle. We pour a measured 5 ounces... More

Excellent food and service. Had open-faced omelet and spouse had real cod fish and chips. Perfect! This is an upscale dining room with the proper silver, glass and dishware; white cloth table cloth and napkins hence the pricing. Nice quiet atmosphere. If you want a fast dinner this is NOT your kind of place. Nice pace, but no rush; waiters... More

We stayed at the hotel and decided to dine in. We had advance reservations and I recommend you do the same. Had the prime rib, it was done perfectly. Waitstaff was very friendly. Good wine selection. The bread was excellent.

This place has great service and fabulous food! Their warm carrot, chopped hazelnut and honey salad is divine as is the green dinner salad with bleu cheese vinaigrette. I also love the Chicken Livers Marsala. Really delicious.

Description
Located in the center of Jacksonville, a historic town in Southern Oregon that got its start as part of the gold rush back in the 1850s, stands the Jacksonville Inn. It’s an elegant bed and breakfast housed in a building built in 18961 complete with walls made of locally quarried sandstone (specks of gold are still visible in the mortar). The historic hotel rooms blend distinctive 19th century décor with the necessities of a connected digital age, including a variety of modern comforts and amenities. Whether or not you are staying in the unforgettable rooms, you will love dining in the superb restaurant with its distinctive menu and impressive wine list featuring over 2,000 wines. The restaurant is known for its attention to detail and personal service and has a passion for building connections with its customers. The Jacksonville Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has served three U.S. presidents and has provided lodging for a U. S. president and First Lady.
