The Mexican food is excellent well priced and homey. Reminds me of many places in. L. A. that you don't see in Oregon. It's family run and the food and deserts unbelievable

It's like going to your granma's for good food and loving service. The only problem is that "small", as in a small margarita, does not translate into spanish. Enjoy!
First off an authentic ANYTHING is hard to find these days but the Las Palmas is the best in all categories. Right is correct and this restaurant ambience is naturally comfortable from the beginning. At the door you are welcomed warmly. The bar and restaurant are totally separate. If one wants to sit and relax in either place, you may... More
This place looks unsuspecting- there isn't much from the outside that would let you know the DELICIOUS food that awaits you. The food was wonderful, well prepared, full of flavor and fresh. It seemed pretty authentic- reminded me of a restaurant my husband and I used to frequent when we lived on the East Coast that was run by a... More
I don't give out 5s freely. I am a tough critic usually so this is legit. The family running this place was so nice. Very accommodating and friendly. The chips are fresh and the salsas are pretty darned good. We modified one of the orders and they gladly complied, the food came out quick too. The asada burrito was enormous... More
Authentic food in authentic ambiance, everything seemed fresh and very cheap. We loved the fish tostada. Lots of food could not finish. The chicken chipotle was very good as well. Service comical and effecient. Too bad it was too early to try the margarita. It looked yummy on our young neighbors table.
Good Mexican food with great service. We went for lunch and the portions were more than ample. Suitable for everyone including families with small kids too.
We live in Medford but always come out to Jacksonville for the best Mexican food. The owners make you feel like family and the selection of menu choices is amazing. You want the best Mexican food then go to Las Palmas and you will become a regular like us.
