This is a fabulous German Restaurant! I have been here twice now and on different days of the week with both family (with kids) and with friends. The ambience is sweet and clean. The service has been excellent both times. They were able to answer questions with really accurate responses. They were very accommodating and friendly! The best part is... More

We traveled to visit friends in the Medford area over Christmas and decided to check out the quaint little town of Jacksonville Oregon. We discovered a treasure off the beaten path in Frau Kemmling Schoolhaus Brewhaus! The venue is fun, the wait staff are in "German" costumes and the beer and German food were fantastic. We were able to sample... More

Our Valentine celebration dinner was at the Schoolhaus Brewhouse. We shared the wieinerschnitzel. It was delicious, along with German potato salad and red cabbage. We enjoyed Doppelbock from Germany as well. We didn't even have room for house made dessert, maybe next time.

Went here for the Octoberfest and just okay, but we went when they had the full menu and it was okay... had a waitress who was so sick she forgot some of our order...with her hacking...just felt sorry for her, but she shouldn't been serving at all... we tried the apple strudel again, boy were we sorry... the pastry dough... This should be on the do not miss list for anyone in the area. Having visited Germany and Austria several times this is a pretty good facsimile of genuine German food and the décor reminds me a bit of the old country. The food was delicious and the beer spot on. Great place to visit for lunch or dinner and... More

The facility itself is very unique being originally a school. Everything was exceptionally clean. There were four of us and we each tried something different on the menu. We all shared a taste and we all loved the food, just like being back in K town. The riesling was excellent, the pilsner excellent as well. This was the 3rd time... More

Being new to an area can be great or awful - count the Brewhaus as awesome. Schnitzel was excellent per my hubby and Wurst platter was yummy and topped off with German Chocolate Cake - we will be back

We enjoyed our first time dining at the Schoolhaus Brewhaus today. My bloody Mary was the best ever. We will be back upon our one & only concern. Our waitress kept touching her hair which is a big No No when serving food. Please be aware of this in the future with your servers. Bon Appétit

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Service was mediocre. My daughter odered a special cider that she likes and the waitress brought out a completely different cider. When my daughter asked for the one that she specifically odered, she was told that they no longer sold it( even though it was still on the menu) and that the one she brought... More

Our first time dining here will probably be our last. Unfortunately we found the food to be bland, overcooked and totally lacking any personality. The schnitzel was way too dry and lacked flavor. More of the huckleberry sauce would have helped. Fish (with fish and chips) was almost tasteless -- could have been eating anything fried & breaded. Best dish... More
