From the kitchen utensil sculptures to the copper-penny floor, Mustard Seed is a small breakfast restaurant with an interesting menu and very friendly service. A well-deserved reputation keeps folks lined up at the door: Write your name on the blackboard at the door and stay nearby to be called, they're worth the wait.

My sisters and I took a day trip to Jacksonville. Slovak store owner recommended the mustard seed cafe for a late breakfast. It's a cute little place. We ate outside and enjoyed the nice weather. Food was excellent and very inexpensive.

Went here on our last day in town, not open on Monday and Tuesday. Had a very nice breakfast with my wife and son's girlfriend. Service was good, food great.

Our small group stopped in for lunch and had burgers and fries. The food was good and the fries were great. Service was friendly. Searing is limited in this small, well established business. I'd like to come back and give breakfast a try.

Great food. Really cute friendly and fun atmosphere in downtown Jacksonville. But small. Might be a wait, but worth defiantly worth it.

We had breakfast at The Mustard Seed and enjoyed it very much. It is a sweet, little cafe with great service and friendly folks. It is clearly a place where the locals like to eat. This is a very easy one to recommend!

This is a must stop for breakfast in Jacksonville. We shared the quiche and it was absolutely delightful. Fun and funky. But the food is top notch. Fresh and delicious.

Best breakfast in town even with the typical short wait if the patio is closed. Ask for extra crispy bacon for a real treat with your hashbrowns and eggs; Dave's killer bread is also good for toast. Be nice or leave.
