Really love this old building and the surrounding area. The staff make you feel very welcomed. The pastries are really great and the quiches delicious. We enjoyed our food on the plane as we traveled back home with great memories of Oregon.

Great variety of fancy pastries. Great biscuits and gravy and torta. Good breakfast sandwiches. Be prepared to stand in line. You order at the counter and this place is busy!
I've now been here about eight times and always solid quality. Great pastries, the standard meatloaf sandwich with marinara sauce and mozarella which is difficult to pass up. On weekends they have biscuits and gravy which is flavorful, but a tad spicy. Their quiche is...More
Glad we stopped so the next times we drive by we won't be saying "We should stop there." $10 for a sandwich that can be made at home for 1/3 that! And what's with paying for the food and being asked what amount of tip...More
Great service and food. Nice homey atmosphere. Great for lunch for all ages. There were 70 year-olds and toddlers there. Just a nice place for lunch on a Saturday - or any day.
The breakfast offerings are very flavorful. The setting is very informal. The baked goods are divine. The drive to the restaurant is scenic. You order at the counter, then poor your own coffee, and seat yourself. They promptly bring your order to your table, and...More
It's a quarter hour south of Hillsboro, but it's a great destination for a drive when the weather is nice. Soup and sandwich is the specialty for lunch. And they do it very well. I'm partial to the half Ham & Swiss with soup, if...More
What a wonderful find in the middle of nowhere.....smile. You go up to the counter to place order and pay, in the process you walk by all the wonderful pastries they have, scones, muffins, tarts, cinnamon rolls......etc. But don't stop there, the quiche is great,...More
This is a quaint cafe with soups , salads and desserts. All made in house. The mushroom soup is the best mushroom soup I have ever tasted! The soup and half sandwich combo is perfect for a light lunch. The pastries are made daily and...More
We had a bachelorette brunch here, and it was PERFECT! Great munchies (scones, muffins, pastries), great sandwiches and even better beverages. I had the iced chai, and the bride-to-be had a mimosa with fresh blackberries in it! Yum!
