Just moved to the area, and decided to check the place out for lunch. They have 2 deli counters filled with delicious foods and pastries to choose from. I ended up getting both, the chicken curry, and beef & potato sambookis (Calzone-like stuffed pastries). Both were fantastic, with plenty of filling. I will definitely be back to try more!

This is a little restaurant & bakery with great food but it is the pastry that is to die for. I can't even tell you the name of the little delicacies. We just bought 2 of each & greatly enjoyed our day.

I love Selma's! Stop there whenever I can when in Gresham at lunch time. Their deli features a delightful array of Greek/Mediterranean cuisine. I always choose a couple items to go, usually the Spanikopita and this lovely cauliflower dish. Hoping for the chance to go one morning for coffee and a pastry from their bakery display. The owners are so... More

This place lives up to its rating. Nice family-owned bakery - deli with great food! I had the gyro with lamb and beef in a homemade wrap plus a beautiful pressed date cookie for dessert. I would have like to try all the baked goods they looked so delicious. The service was classic and so gracious.

Great selection of foods. Great flavors. Wonderful bakery items. Great coffee. And Selma and her husband and family are just about the best people ever!

Food was great and the service was even better! The middle eastern fare was very tasty. The people who own/run the cafe are very pleasant and happy to share information about a menu item if you are unsure what is in it.

We had the chicken and rice curry, humus, meatloaf and cucumber & tomato salad with an iced turkish coffee. Sat at 1 of the 9 small tables. It was all very good with the coffee being an acquired taste. The curry though is what we had to order another container of to go so we could have more and share... More

Sometimes you want fast, casual eating that’s healthier than fast food-chain meals. Selma’s in Gresham is a welcome spot, especially for travelers. You can eat there, or on a nice day find a spot at the Arts Plaza a block away, and about three blocks away is Main City Park, with the adjoining Japanese Garden. If you take it to... More
