Very nice expensive building (great location) and view of the Rogue River is great! So the atmosphere is great! But the food and service was just okay! I may do a little deeper searching next time I am in town... But for a convenient stop heading towards 1-5... This is a nice spot in the world!

I was fortunate enough to be invited to a small group gathering during December. The log cabin style Tap Rock is located right along the banks of the scenic Rogue River in Grants Pass. This restaurant has been voted as "Best restaurant in Grants Pass" for 3 years in a row. Most of the ingredients used are from seasonal, local... More

We ate at the Taprock Northwest Grill two different nights. We were tempted to have the exact same thing the 2nd night because it was so good. However we did change it up a bit and the 2nd time was just as good as the first. It also very kid friendly with good choices.

even though the building is lodge-like pretty, and some window tables have a nice view; this cannot make up for the frayed-around-the-edges appearance of the facility. on the food, my wife and shared a $24 rib-eye steak that was awful. the steak was thin, and had far too much fat and gristle from not being selected or trimmed properly. we... You don't want to miss this place even if you're just passing through Grants Pass, Oregon. Make sure you walk around the whole restaurant to see the beautiful building, artwork and view of the River. The food and service were great, very fun atmosphere for all ages.

We could have waited to sit outside, but decided to just eat indoors. It was a tad Sunday. First off, we had to start with beers with which they had a good selection. I had Lost Coast Great White and my husband got Jabberwocky Ale. Both were good. Fir dinner, I had the Pacific Rim Crab & Shrimp Pasta. It... More

Taprock was so much fun the first time that we went back the next night for more! We had a group of 41 people with us, in town for the car show and on the spur of the moment, we decided to meet at Taprock for dinner. They don't take reservations, even for large groups, so we were a little... More

One of the best, if not the best restaurant in Grants Pass. On the river across from Riverside Park. Great view inside or outside on the deck. Great selection of beer and wine. Food was great

A group happy hour was planned for the lower deck. It was nice to be able to gather in one outdoor location. Service was good and happy hour pricing was great. Flies were a problem.Others in group went upstairs for dinner with fair reviews.
