Bayfront serves up some delicious pastries, donuts, breads, muffins, etc. Very good quality and a nice option to have on the coast.

Wednesday buttermilk donut day! Crunchy on the outside soft and warm on the inside. Get there early. You snooze you lose! Always so sad when I drive by on my way to work and they are closed. :(

This is a really nice bakery turning out excellent donuts, rolls and pies. Although not the "best ever", they serve some really good items, their prices are incredible (especially for a tourist town), and they get extra points for being open early (try 5:30 A.M.)!!
Best pasteries outside of Italy and France (no kidding) you must get there early though to get the items you want. The maple bars are the best I have ever tasted. They close early so plan to be there at opening.
Family owned, homemade goodies abound such as: cookies, muffins, pies, bread, donuts, cakes, etc. Regular coffee on site. Great apple fritters, macaroons, coffee cakes. The danish are popular as well. Get there early. They close at 2:00pm and sell out quickly.
I always stop there for bread and cinnamon rolls. Also to bring home day old bread. Sit at a table and enjoy a cup for fresh roast coffee.
Super fresh and delicious donuts. We drove the short trip from Rockaway Beach and it was well with it! Many traditional donut types and flavors, but very yummy and reasonably priced. I think we spent close to $12 for around a dozen fresh assorted doughnuts....More
