Best food, best service, steak Diana redefined what could be done with steak in my eyes. Holy mole, everything was amazing.

I enjoyed my dinner at Cafe Soriah from start to finish. In fact, my face was tired from smiling by the time I got home that night. Although busy, seating was timely to my reservation. I loved meeting owner Ib and watching him cook my meal right there in the dining room. The waiter forgot to enter our appetizer order,... More

A great surprise, way above our expectations. Think of the entire Mediterranean . . . Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey . . . And you'll get the gist of the chefs inspirations. Fabulous starters with ground lamb roll up (Sambosik -- see below) and roasted beet salad. Even the humble hummus plate was distinguished with crisp pickled carrots and tasty olives.... More

The food is always wonderful at this restaurant. I usually get the special. They have fabulous soups and their middle eastern food is great. They will make your selection spicier if you ask. I wish the wait staff was a little more friendly and attentive. I overlook it because the food is so good. The owner Ib is so personable.... More

A little on the pricey side, however, you get what you pay for. Began with a small Ceasar salad. The home made bread is wonderful. I had Lamb Curry, my wife had Chicken Tangine. Each was served on a bed of rice with fresh vegetables. All of the flavors were absolutely great. Ended the meal with Banana's Foster. Our waiter,... More

Was in Eugene for a matinee performance at the Hult Center. My husband found Cafe Soriah on line and made a reservation for after the show. Soriah's doors open at 4:30pm for drinks and the dining room opens at 5pm. We arrived for our 5pm reservations 15 minutes early. We were greeted by the bartender and he informed the hostess... More

I'd been to Soriah once before and found it excellent. Great food and service, good atmosphere. So, I thought it would be a great place to take my fiancee on her special (55th) birthday. All started out well, but the first thing to go wrong was when the waitress failed to bring me my dinner salad, and failed to notice... More

Unique and quaint fine dining. The owner is always there and ensures the meals are prepared imperfectly each and every time. The bread and deserts are home made and the food is always fresh. The owner cooks his signature meals (steak Diane and Shrimp) on a cart near the patron. He also makes fresh peaches and ice cream close to... More

Used to love this place. It has been a while since we've been there though. After tonight, unfortunately, we will not be back. Terrible service. Marginal food. I really was looking for a special dinning experience to celebrate my 50th birthday. First of all our reservation was messed up and our table wasn't reserved. Then when the host seated us... More

The food is great (best calamari ever). Patio is charming in summer and indoors the restaurant is quiet You can talk without yelling. The wait staff have been around for a while and are friendly and helpful. Best of all is owner, Ib. Whether he's cooking table side or just stopping by for a chat, your life will be enhanced...
