We had dinner at Marche on a Saturday night and breakfast the next morning. Both meals were delicious and the wait staff was professional and friendly. Our last experience was not as positive. We had breakfast at Marche Monday, 9/3 which was Labor Day. There...More

Want to feel like you have left town for a get away?? Have brunch and sit outside if weather permits at Marche. The eggs Benedict and french toast are the best.

Went here with my wife as we stayed the night next door at the Inn. A few groups of people were very loud and rude to the staff. My wife and I hoped to have a quiet romantic dinner but with the clientele here it...More

This is a small bistro amid the Mercantile shops on 5th Street. Excellent service. I was disappointed that they didn't serve French Onion soup, one of my favorites. The Mussels and Clams where some of the best I've had. The burrata salad had a generous...More

I was at 5th Street waiting for Market Fest to start and had some time to wait. Saw a sandwich board sign promoting LeBar at Marche's happy hour. Entering we were told we could choose where we wanted to sit. The server was timely, brought...More

We were here for a lunch, and dinner and even came by for a nightcap one evening. They have a more traditional area for dining on the Marche side and to the left is a bar/pub (Le Bar)---which also has tables and a long bar....More

Who would have expected a nice, not too expensive French restaurant in Eugene? We were pleasantly surprised! Good food, good service.

During the day yes, if you have a well behaved baby. Be courteous to other patrons. It's a little on the expensive side. I probably wouldn't take a baby at dinner bc if I'm paying that much I wouldn't want my baby with... More

Description
Marche, located in Eugene, Oregon, opened in August 1998. The restaurant, which seats 80 guests, has an exhibition kitchen featuring a beautiful wood-fired oven. There is also a stylish bar and a large outdoor dining area, covered with awnings and umbrellas and surrounded by a garden of herbs and edible flowers. Marche takes its name from the French word for market – a word that describes our location in the bustling 5th street Market and more importantly, our philosophy of cooking. The menu is based on the foods one would find at a farmer’s market: fresh, seasonal, and regional. Marche is committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, so our menu evolves as we move through the seasons of the year. Marche also believes in using the highest quality and most healthful ingredients available and to that end use organic, free range, and chemical free products. The culinary technique is French-based: intensely flavored and simply but beautifully presented.
