Average food, slow service. Food is okay, as far as Italian goes. Definitely had better. Not many choices for breakfast foods, I'm not really a eggs and bacon kind of person but otherwise it was fine. Nothing to call home about.More

Hey there, thanks for coming in to dine with us. It looks like you joined us for brunch - glad you liked the outside atmosphere, but sorry to hear you didn't find choices you like. We created our brunch menu with options like french toast,...More

Thanks for choosing to celebrate with us. We're really sorry to hear you found your experience disappointing. You're right, we are a big restaurant and sometimes that can slow things down a bit, but we always want everyone to feel taken care of and wish...More

Ambrosia truly does make the very best crème brulee we have ever had. We had out of town guests and ordered four crème brulee to go. Obviously these deserts wouldn't go home with the caramelized sugar crust intact but we didn't expect all four portions...More

Leslie, thank you very much for taking the time to respond. There was a customer who had been coming in almost weekly throughout the summer to order 4 creme brulees and take them to her sick friend's house; however she ALWAYS asked for them in...More

Ambrosia deftly interweaves modern Italian takes on that country’s classics with Oregon’s freshest ingredients in a pleasantly elegant manner. Overall, the food is fabulous; the staff is professional and friendly; and the setting comfortable and stylish. Our most recent visit began with glasses of Prosecco...More

Late night visit after show and found noisy crowd but food and help were very good. No split charge for salad and lamb dinner!

We had dinner on the sidewalk during "First Friday" -- a view of art and galleries throughout the downtown area. Service was delightful and the wine list very good indeed. Salads were fresh and good, and entrees were superb. Mine was an unusual fettucini alfredo,...More

Hadn't eaten at Ambrosia in quite a few years, but it was always a solid choice. Not any longer. Not only was my basic pasta meal terrible, but to add insult to injury, my girlfriend found her food to be close to inedible as well....More

Thanks so much for your honest review. Early June was a transitional period for Ambrosia as we were introducing new menus and enduring heavier business due to the University of Oregon Gradutation weekend. We have worked out all kinks and hope you'll give us another...More

The building is old and decorated nicely. It was cold in there, we had to wear our jackets the whole time. The food was ok, loved the crab cakes but the Cesar salad was not my cup of tea. The waiter was a bit stuck...More

Ambrosia was born from a love of Italian tradition around food and wine. There is no better way to celebrate life than sharing a comforting meal with friends and family at the table! We feature classic Italian cuisine inspired by the vibrant Pacific Northwest, and are known for our seasonal menu and nightly specials featuring local produce, seafood and meats, handmade pastas, wood-fired pizza and house-made classic Italian desserts. We have an extensive wine list and sommeliers on staff, a full bar featuring local beers and hand-crafted cocktails and sodas. Weeknight happy hour. Our warm interior is decorated with classic furniture, primarily from the original owners of the building who were antique dealers. The soul of the restaurant is its wood-fired brick oven which was imported from Italy in pieces and assembled on site.
