The staff was extremely nice and helpful and the cafe was decorated really nicely. It had a really good atmosphere too. I had the Eugenewhich and it was, simply put, the BEST thing I ever had. Even before I was vegan, I'd never had anything as good as this was. I'd probably go every day just for that meal alone... More

Eating here was an unusual experience. The great choice of unique vegan dishes was exciting. We were able to eat preparations that we have never found elsewhere. We will return to sample more of what they have to offer. If you want to enjoy something different from general restaurant fare, definitely try this place. We rarely rate a place with... More

Came here because my friend is gluten free. We saw someone eating portabello sandwich. It looked so good. Sliced and sauteed with jerk and sweet sauce. We ordered that to share with gluten free bread. It came a whole cap between bread with some sauteed greens. Couldn't taste any seasoning or sauce. They said they made it differently because of... The Cornbread Cafe is located in a vintage diner. If you are looking for a fancy atmosphere, it isn't here. But if you are looking for unique and tasty food - you found the right place. Try the Chicken Fried Tempeh - sounds weird - but it is GREAT! Coffee: they use a great local roast, but because they are... More

I had a gift certificate to use and so we headed over on a Friday night. As a vegetarian I was excited to have many options. My girlfriend isn't a vegetarian but us very open minded. We both had great meals. My portobello mushroom was delicious though a little undercooked. It came with mashed potato/gravy, sautéed spinach and coke slaw.... More

In a rehabilitated former hamburger joint, the Cornbread Cafe provides an oasis of culinary relief for those seeking vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free high quality food at a reasonable price. Filled with booths and a counter, this bustling restaurant has a packed menu of salads, soups, sandwiches, entrees and desserts (the desserts are unbelievably beautiful and fast!!) that will meet anyone's... This is a vegan cafe. On the caliber of the spiral diner in Fort Worth and Dallas. We got the sampler platter. They made tofu taste like fish with tarter sauce. The chicken fried steak was also excellent. He Mac and uncheese was good as well If you are vegan or vegetarian this is a must place. The agave lemonade... More

Found this place on TA and this is a very unique and eclectic establishment. Seating is limited, about 8-9 booths and tables and four seats at a counter. If you crave vegan and also require gluten-free, this is your place. Very unique and varied offering on that theme. Their chili and cornbread staple is very good as was their daily... More

Don't let the vegan menu lead you astray. The foods are impeccably prepared and a wonder to those of us who are omnivores! Delicious and amazing! What I'm trying to say is, you don't need to be a vegan to enjoy this restaurant. Period. Friendly, down to earth service, and cute digs. Go ahead, take a chance...you won't be disappointed.
