We had been here twice when visiting Oregon a couple years ago, and made a point of returning on this trip. The ingredients are very fresh, and they offer healthy options. The patio was just the relaxing environment we were looking for. Also, the waitress...More

Cajun offerings were the best - had the etoufee and it was great! Service could have been a bit less relaxed. No reservations, so don't come late.

Had some wine here. A big full glass of white house wine. We were served by a very friendly lady. We also met the owner who told us how he started up this cafe in Cannon Beach. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace this sunny...More

The food was very delicious but plan to spend two hours there. The service was very slow and perhaps understaffed. If you’re in a hurry, this is not the place for you.

thanks for your review. Yes at times we get over loaded and it takes time, We do our very best to get our orders out quickly but alas at times it's just out of our control. I'm glad you enjoyed your meal.

I don’t know how such a sweet calm space can exist in such a frenetic beach town, but somehow Sweet Basil manages it. Fantastic clam chowder (best in town), and tons of gluten free and vegan options. As a tour guide, I recommend this when...More

Sweet Basil’s Cafe offers a good mixture of quality food, friendly service and pleasant ambiance. We particularly enjoyed having a guitarist singing during our visit.
