Super Take Out

The take out is the same menu that we enjoy inside The wet burrito has great flavors, I would guess the pork or beef is as good as the chicken. I was able to eat half so have leftovers for lunch. Did I mention it came with rice and pinto beans Wife had the chicken verde enchilada which she really enjoyed

Good Mexican Food in North Bend

We visited this restaurant after a day of skiing at Mt. Bachelor. We were seated promptly. Our server was very professional, helpful, attentive, and acommodating. The food was above average. The menu is huge - so literally anything you might want is available. We had one cocktail before dinner. It was pricey and just so-so. I wouldn't order a cocktail on my return visit but would definitely go here again.

Absolutely Fantastic!

El Rancho Grande is a truly fantastic restaurant. The employees are always happy, engaging and make dining there a great experience. They are family owned and this is in turn a great place to bring your family. We have a newborn and a 5 year old and they are always welcomed and some great child friendly menu items. There are a lot of options for adults and children and while other restaurants can’t handle a large menu well, the food here is always hot, fresh and delicious. One of the best Margaritas and Palomas I’ve ever had but don’t stop there, they have several locally made spirits and make some great cocktails such as a Mule, and anything you want with Gin too. I highly recommend this family run business.

Horrible customer service especially management

We ordered from this restaurant through DoorDash. We are vegetarians and ordered cheese and onion enchiladas with all rice for the side. When the order arrived we received greasy chicken enchiladas with rice and beans on the side. My husband called the restaurant and explained to the manager on duty that we received an incorrect order. The management refused to fix our order and said DoorDash would have to correct the mistake even though their staff made it incorrectly. My husband explained that DoorDash had only offered us a $4 credit on a $64 order still the management refused to fix anything! Very poor customer service. Disappointed

UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE AND FOOD QUALITY

Recommended by friends. First time eating here. Finally, restaurants are re-opening in Bend, Feb, 2021. So we gave it a try. Our waiter was rude upon entering, loud and condescending. The best part of our experience was the "bus boy". Very attentive. My entree was inedible. The Margarita drink was below average. My wife's entree was below average. We both got sick from the food. Not exaggerating. Took 2 days to recover. We will never return.

Nice Mexican family restaurant

This is a large restaurant with an outdoor seating area as well. Staff are very friendly and there is very much a family vibe. Food is typical Mexican restaurant faire, but lots of options which are very authentic. The food is generally better than the usual Mexican place. My wife had the Machaca, which is a great brunch option. I had carne asada tacos, very nice. The accompanying rice and beans here are much better than the usual.

Friendly and consistent!

This isn’t necessarily a review about one night we’ve been to this place many times, and I’ve been meaning to write them a good review. They are always welcoming and friendly. We always get a handshake or a hug even. The food is consistently good, and the margaritas are the best in town in our opinion! They stay busy for a reason! Thank you El Rancho grande. Nice atmosphere, good food

Based on the decor and atmosphere I may have set my expectations too high. We came on a Sunday evening and just happened to arrive during some sort of shift change or something so there was confusion as to when or if we were waiting for a table but it wasn't a big deal. The prices were average I would say for this area and the portions were good as was the food. I guess I was expecting something a little more on the amazing side and the confusion at the beginning plus the fact that we ended up getting seated 5 feet from the cash register and kitchen exit even though the restaurant was not super busy kind of left me disappointed in the experience. But I would definitely try it again as the food was good, just maybe not on a Sunday evening.

Shrimp

They use cooked shrimp and place them in what shrimp dish you order. No taste, just tough twice cooked pink things. The la creama veg's were not sauted, just added to the sauce. Warm and hard. Order chicken. Other entrees were fine.

Think Happy Hour

Early dinner with happy hour specials. Fish and pork tacos were great, very full of meat. Another dish was a tacquito with super flavor and packed with meat. Great beer for $3.75
