Stopped in to get a pie to go but they were pricey and didn't look that great. Got some fried pies instead and they were expensive for no better than they were. Also bought some pumpkin bread and it was more expensive than other places in the area. Didn't eat a meal here but probably won't be back based on... More

If you haven't had breakfast at the Amish Country Store, you are missing out! The ham was delicious, eggs cooked to perfection, & yummy fried potatoes but the homemade toasted bread and jam was the icing on the cake!!!! The waiter convinced me to try it over the biscuits and I was so glad I did. I am not a... More

If you've been to one, you've been to all. Items are too high $$ for me to want to pay. I think I'll pass on stopping at these places in future.

It was my wife's birthday. She wanted to go to eat somewhere different. She chose the Amish Country Store. We walked in and thought are you sure? We were seated and looked at the menu. We saw right off what we wanted. My wife ordered a BLT Salad. I ordered the Roast Beef Dinner. We were served are meals. My... More

We stopped here for lunch today and were greeted with a quaint little gem! The service was very good, and the food was excellent. I had the Amish traditional which was a cup of soup ( but larger than most other restaurants "cups") which was beef stew, and a hal a sandwich and I tried their grilled cheese. The stew... More

The food was good, but the service was somewhat slow. Pleasant servers. Their baked goods are really tasty - especially the fried pies.

We are not from the area but love Amish food so we have gone out of way to eat here twice. Our first experience was better. First of all, let me say the store is a real treat with a variety of desserts, jams, food and various sundries which are worth stopping in for. The dining experience has been less... More

We stopped for lunch at 2 p.m. on a Sunday. The lunch crowd seemed to be finishing as we arrived, and there were several tables available. We both had sandwiches. Mine (chicken salad) was good; my wife's (chicken club) was great. Service was fine, and our food appeared quickly. We heard the servers tell several other guests that certain items... More

To be fair, I probably ordered the worst thing on the menu, because what I saw being delivered to other tables looked good. Hubby ordered the pot roast, and I ordered the open face turkey with green beans and carrots. The vegetables were good, even if they use much more salt/sugar than I am accustomed to. The turkey was a... More

As we were passing through Muscogee on Hwy 69, we saw the signs for the Amish store. Curiosity aroused, and being around lunchtime, we stopped. Think of a smaller Cracker Barrel. Left side of the store was loaded with wonderful foods - ciders, honeys, preserves, etc. Right side of the store had a small restaurant with the most amazing food.... More
