We have visited several times, and always "top shelf" food and service. Steaks are always perfectly aged. Service is perfect.

The Gage Steakhouse is in the basement of a very old victorian building in downtown Guthrie, USA. We have been to Guthrie many times, living only 10 miles away in N. Edmond. Unfortunately (for us), we had never discovered this restaurant. My wife and I went out for a cruise on our motorcycles friday evening and found ourselves cruising into... More
To gain access you can either go down the stairs or take an elevator, the restaurant is very clean service is excellent food is wonderful it is probably a little more expensive but for a night out the atmosphere is great and you are not rushed off to make room they let you sit and enjoy your after meal coffee... Amazingly good food and service!!! I had the rack of pork and my hubby had crab stuffed shrimp. We couldnt of had a better waiter than Ryan. He even gave us a free desert because it was our 17th wedding anniversary!!!
Outstanding steak dinner. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. I love medium rare. My wife likes medium well. Both met our expectations. The creme brûlée was excellent. My wife has this dessert often and she rated it as one of the best.
Really enjoyed our meal. We had a large party, but the restaurant wasn't full. Didn't notice how long it took to serve us, so it must have been reasonable. The bread was delicious, as well as the steak and dessert. I think a regular baked potato would have been better than the twice baked, as it would have been hotter,... More
This was our second time at Gage's. Restaurant is difficult to find and you have to go down precarious metal stairs to a basement. There is an elevator somewhere. We had reservations but were seated at a table by the kitchen entrance even though the restaurant was 1/2 empty and we were dining early to see a show at the... More
My filet was very good. My twice baked potato ice cold. The carrots side dish were uncooked, almost impossible to even pick up with a fork. If you're thinking Morton's steak house, keep dreaming... Upscale underground restaurant, falls shorts in many areas. Soup seafood gumbo was just okay. Black bean soup ditto. Salads nothing to write home about. Simple salad... More
The staff were bright and courteous, and we had no waiting time on drinks, water refills or the meal. Well orchestrated, personable service. Overall, the steaks were good, the fillet perfectly done, Pittsburgh rare with a nice char, although the ribeye was on the well done side of medium rare. Salad was crisp and portion size correct for a first... More
