Don't waste your time, the food is mediocre at best. Service is friendly, but slow. All in all. Not worth the drive from Oklahoma City.

Don Serapio's is another family owned restaurant gone bad. The tortilla chips tasted old and were cold. The Chicken Monterey was over cooked, dry and cold. . The rice was also cold tasted old. All in all, I wouldn't go there.More

This is our "go to" place for great local food. A quick snack, lunch or an incredible dinner is always on the menu here. Must tries are the fajitas, enchiladas and the steak.
We're honored to hear that we're your go to place, Shanon! Thanks for continuing to come by and see us. We can't wait till next time! Best, Jim and the Team at Don Serapio's Mexican Restaurant
Mmmmm....mmmmm....slow down on your way through El Reno as you get your kicks on Route 66. You do not want to miss this place. Try the Chili burro if you dare. You'll need a wheel barrow to get out. Try the sautéed jalapeños if you...More

Don Serapios has been around a long time and for good reason. The Chili Burro is beyond good and the cheese enchiladas are great. Very good salsa and, as mentioned, the queso is the best. Good service and good prices.
We love hearing that! Thanks so much for the support. We hope you'll come by and see us again next time you're in the mood for some cheese enchiladas. Best wishes, Jim and the Team at Don Serapio's Mexican Restaurant
yes this WAS the best place for Mexican style food back in the day. But now the prices are way to high and the food is just ok.More

For the prices they charge, one would expect a much better atmosphere. Looks like they are not keen on putting any profit back in the business. $7 for a small child's burrito is just excessive, but all of the dishes seemed overpriced. The food was...More

Nice place to eat, food was great, service was great. I had a taco platter with beans and rice and couldn't eat it all. Salsa was very good not filled with cilantro and cheese dip tasted great also. I will go back for sure.
We're so glad you enjoyed everything, Steve! It sounds like you made great choices when you came by. We hope to see you again next time you're in the area. Best, Don Serapio's Mexican Restaurant
It is Good. Not very good but better than average. The important thing is it is consistently and predictably always good.
We're glad you've had a good experience with us every time, but we wish you were more wowed by your meal! We're definitely aiming for better than just "good." We hope you'll give us another chance very soon! Best wishes, Don Serapio's Mexican Restaurant
This is a place where it is ALL delicious. The best fajita meat I have ever eaten is here and I'm so glad it's in my back yard! They also make their own margarita mix that is as good as any!! Great place to dine...More
