I had CPR training and had forgotten to eat breakfast. With only 10 minutes to spare, I saw Jake's Cafe right next door from where the class was. I went in and asked how long it would take to make a breakfast sandwich biscuit, and the gentleman said 5 minutes. He asked what kind of sandwich I wanted and I... More

We saw the waitress only 3 times, not real friendly. The waffle I had was dry. I asked for strawberries on top got strawberry pie filling, not good. Hubby said pancakes were dry, he liked the omelet and hash browns though.

This place is tiny but ALWAYS packed! We love to go there to have breakfast for lunch or dinner. We all have our favorite meals but we all agree that the biscuits and gravy are fantastic. If you are ever in Broken Arrow, stop by and have breakfast, lunch or dinner - they serve it all. The place could use... More

Was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Waitress was very hateful and rude from the start. Hardly spoke, took my order with a hateful look on her face. Came back with my order throwing plates down on table knocking over basket of butter all over the table. Have been to this place several times and all... More

The worst experience I have EVER had in a restaurant. Most hateful and rude waitress on this planet. Started with a very hateful look from her then proceeded to get worse. Took my order rushed off without saying a word then later came back throwing the plates of food down on the table spilling a basket of butter all over... More

Old school diner says it all. Checkerboard squares, wall art from the fifties including Elvis and Marilyn, and great classic breakfast suitable for a farmer. Fast service, waitress attentive and smiling. Hash browns with just right eggs, grits, biscuit and gravy- what a delight with low salt. The arteries were clapping happily.

Tried Jakes for first time. Had the country breakfast...biscuit, bacon, two eggs, good white gravy and crispy hashbrowns. Served hit and fast. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Nice simple American Cooking.

We have only been here for breakfast and have not yet been disappointed. We either go here or to Egg On It near by and like both places equally well. Jakes has that diner feel and uses fresh ingredients instead of canned. Although the hashbrowns may be frozen but when mixed with cheese, mushrooms, and peppers, who cares. I generally... More

Ordered an omelette with toast. I like to have my toast WITH my omelette. The waitress said she would be right back with it. After 5 minutes, (and the omelette getting cold) I asked her if I could please have the toast now, she went and got it and threw it on the table, very rude. She never said a... More
