Nice environment. Very good servive - our server was Theresa. Good appetizers - the potstickers were very good, and the lettuce wraps were delicious and well presented. Entrées: The pad thai was good, the shrimp was over-cooked. I wish it were spicier, or you could request a spicier version. We asked, but it was fairly mild. The Mongolian beef was... More

We visited J Liu's on a Friday evening with our Dine-Out Group (a group of friends who go out together once a month) - on this particular evening, our group included 20 people. J Liu's was very accommodating and had a large table set up in the back section of the restaurant - not a private room but a semi-secluded... More

Party of 6 w/reservations, seated promptly. My steak was slightly more medium than medium rare, but was juicy and flavorful. Another in the group had steak as well and it was cooked perfectly. The beet salad was excellent. Our server, Bree, was great.

The atmosphere is wonderful. You feel like it's a special occasion. HOWEVER, the brunch was dismal at best. While they offer a wide awry of food, the items were cold and not palatable. I ordered an omlette and it was burned! Really terrible. The dessert table was a shambles. I had to restrain myself from removing empty platters, brush crumbs... More

Our friends told us J Liu's is great and we were feeling like a nice dinner out. The restaurant is very attractive inside and out. Our server was Antonio and he did a great job. We had two fabulous entrees - risotto with jumbo scallops, and filet medallions with twice baked potato cakes and haricot vert. Every bite of our... More

Went to enjoy dinner tonight and disappointed in food . While I have been here prior and had great food tonight was different . Half our table had entrees that arrived cold . When sent back the steaks were then overlooked . Would say the appetizers were good and came out hot and the margarita flat bread was particularly good... More

Nice place. A little different menu. You would expect a traditional menu based on building and décor. I would describe it as traditional, Italian, with Asian added. Between the six of us we ordered pesto chicken, crab cake salad, blackened tuna, a hamburger and two ordered pad thai.

Went here forour Friday night out. The menu is a mix of traditional American dishes and Asian food. Tonight we stuck to the American side of the menu. One of the specials was a pumpkin soup for an appetizer. It was excellent, with lots of flavor. Our entrees were a pork shank and a risotto with scallops. The risotto my... More

The dinning room is a bit dark, had to ask for the lights to be turned up to read the menu. Food was good but not great. Good service. Their Asian dishes have MSG which is a problem. Rather pricey.

We dined on a Sunday evening in the beautiful bar, where open seating included several tables. Service was excellent, including beer (a local session ale) and wine (California Pinot Noir) recommendations that matched the description and our expectations. Food presentation was attractive and tasteful. The risotto with scallops delivered a gentle flavorful richness that did not overwhelm. The blackened tuna... More
