It is a very comfortable place to take friends, and because it's naturally a quite place you can chat while you eat. Excellent food!!

You cannot stop at this cafe & NOT get a stack & ice cream! We plan a day around when we can get here for lunch!

I have eaten here many times and have enjoyed their "Stacks" for lunch each time. Good value and great taste. I have also visited the ice cream parlor on the first floor and would recommend it as well.

Nice place to stop when you need a quick and delicious sandwich. Great side dishes to go along with it. Afterwards we had some ice cream that was very tasty.

In the past we always stopped by for lunch when in the area. But the recent changes have definitely not been improvements.More

Thanks for the review! Sorry to hear that you don't enjoy our change in location and menu. Our goal was to offer a fresher menu, so we did get rid of some popular items. Our burgers are now made to order with fresh ground beef...More

We stopped here before going to a variety show at the Amish Country Theater. The cafeteria is upstairs from a large tourist store selling everything from souvenirs, gifts to bakery goods, etc. We each ordered a "stack"......with is an oval bowl layered with rice, choice...More

We stopped this week. Loved the special trail bologna and Swiss cheese sandwich and a side and drink. Was a good deal and yummy.

When my wife spends the day shopping in Amish Country, and I get dragged along, we ALWAYS stop at the Mudd Cafe for a hamburger. Recommend the Barnyard Burger. You will not be dissappointed.

Food is okay with plenty of choices, very busy most of the time. Worth a quick visit, not a true representation of cultural specific foods. This is just a quick, fast food style cafe for a fast bite. Not the place to experience Amish or...More

Description
Eat where the locals eat! Mudd Valley Café & Creamery is located inside of Walnut Creek Cheese (Walnut Creek location) and is a full service eatery serving brunch, lunch, desserts, ice cream, and more! With seating on our upper level for over 300 people - we have more than enough room for you and your friends to enjoy lunch with us. A complete transformation was recently completed for Mudd Valley Cafe (May 2016) with the ordering and kitchen operation all moved to the upper level. Take the elevator or the stairs, and you'll find yourself in an eclectic cafe serving a selection of fresh menu items. From hot sandwiches, fresh burgers, and our very own Mudd Valley Stacks, you're sure to find a new favorite. Our slogan for the cafe says it all: brunch. lunch. desserts! Located on the main level of our Walnut Creek store, our Mudd Valley Creamery is famous in Amish Country. We sell more than 40,000 of our homemade custard cups for local weddings, parties, and special events. Mudd Valley Custard is our own secret recipe that has a smooth creamy taste that you won't find anywhere else. Pick from Vanilla, Chocolate, and our special "Flavor of the Day." Or you can order a specialty sundae like our Buckeye Blast (Homemade custard with peanut butter, hot fudge, and real buckeye candies), Homemade Brownie Sundae, Turtle Sundae, and many more. Are you more of a flurry or milkshake person? We have those too!
