I'm OK with the greasy spoon restaurant but this was too much. The chili and fried fish dinner was just so so. Even though there was plenty of seating available they made us share a long table with another couple.

Yes, it's dated. Yes, they aren't as quick as chain restaurants. However, the staff is super friendly and the food is really good. They have regulars and they kinda make you feel like one too. We are definitely going back again before we leave.
It is refreshing that when you enter a restaurant, and you are told, it's gonna be awhile. Honesty, it is worth the wait. Have a cup of coffee and relax. Amazing food, and a bit of a little known treat in Sandusky. I love it!
