Stumbled upon this due to the wait down the street. Don’t recommend for kids. Small dining area but quiet and cozy. Started with the cheese plate which was good, I might have added a pickled vegetable with it. I had the squash and corn bisque...More

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here. The food and service were good, but there were a few little things I wasn’t crazy about. The atmosphere was a bit tired - not sure how else to describe it. The menu was very limited with...More

Stopped in for the "market day" special menu. The oysters and prime rib sandwich were the best of each I've ever had. Chef Matt is masterful and will also talk to the guests. The restaurant is quaint and quiet.

This is a small restaurant with rustic brick walls providing an intimate ambience. White table cloths and an attentive waitress (Kelly) made for a great evening. Our dinner started with drinks and generous pours of wine. Mussel and foie gras appetizers were really good and...More

Far better than one would expect in a place with "Pub" in its name. My biggest complaint which I don't even want to mention it is so trivial is have a better vermouth for the Manhattans. The food and service were excellent. Very intimate with...More

The menu which is ever changing, keeps up with the only fresh ingredients, including amazing seafood, hand cut steaks and what the seasons bring through the door. The top shelf bar offers a great place to mingle with locals and visitors alike, great wines, tapped local beers make The Rose and Thistle one of the tastiest and friendliest places in Perrysburg.
