We found this restaurant after touring Castle Noel. It was packed, as we expected, but we were happy they had a table to accommodate our family of 7. The grilled cheese was a hit with the grandkids, two of us had burgers (huge!) which were...just okay, others had the pulled pork sandwich and a wrap that were mediocre. Our waiter was great and did a wonderful job.More

Sully's has become a bit of an end-of-the-work-week tradition for my wife and I. The staff are friendly, the kitchen fare is quick and delicious, and the pub is definitely lively! We haven't met a single Grump or Grinch there, either! Sherry is usually tending...bar when we arrive, but Ben and Ryan are also very adept at drawing a draught or two! I've also learned the Redbreast Whiskey is better than Jamesons, although I wouldn't have believed it before drinking it. So...great food, great people working *and* visiting, and a plentiful variety of spirits and beer make Sully's "The Right Place To Be." Great craic, indeed!!!More

Went on this Monday, 20 Nov. and we were only the third "table" (folks were drinking @ the bar). Service was slow to nonexistent. There were six of us with a food tab of $126. I am a fan of shepherd's pie which at Sully's...is made with the "Irish Stew w/ Mashed potatoes. $14.95 vs $15.95. I inquired of the server if the Shepherd's Pie had the same amount of stew as the plain stew dish. The reply was yes and I said I had to ask because you can't trust any business these days. When the food arrived and the diner next to me had plain Irish Stew it became readily apparent that the server had lied & that Shepherd's Pie was mostly Mashed Potatoes. The mashed potatoes were a dingy brownish grey in color upon which others also commented. Additionally they bordered on flavorless. My companion's stew had some meat but the shepherd's pie served me had only a little and the sauce in both was lackluster. My companion only ate about 25% & I far less than that. She took her left overs because she is from a country wg\here you never throw away food. I left 80% of mine. My wife's Salmon salad was miserable as well with "shredded Salmon" which likely from the left overs from other salmon dishes (ie the garbage salmon). Perhaps she could have ordered better as could have I - Have a PB&J Sandwich ??? If In Medina find somewhere else to eat PS The innards of the Reuben Egg Rolls were good but the casing was so saturated with oil that the paper upon which they rested was completely discolored with the oil and it practically dripped down your fingers when you picked one up. If the fryer is @ too low a temp then food will be greasy - a management/kitchen failure.More

We, two adults, ate lunch and drink on Wednesday afternoon. We ordered Ocean Cake, Cheese Steak Sandwich, Onion Rings, Iced Tear, and Guinness beer(x2). Our waiter, Neal, was nice and worked so hard. We paid $59 including 20 % of tips.

My wife and I stopped in today after a business meeting for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the offerings available. She ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken breast with broccoli and I ordered the brunch burger medium with fresh cut chips....She quickly found that the kitchen had already sold out of broccoli, and settled for mashed potatoes instead. They did NOT run out of Guinness, and I was quite happy about that. Our drinks and meals were served very quickly, and my burger was cooked to perfection. The chips were outstanding and malt vinegar was provided without asking. The check was provided very timely at the end of our meal. We’ll be back !More

I was referred to Sully's Irish Pub by the folks at the Polish Pottery store on Medina's Square. They said the food was good and the service was better. It was only a short walk one block from the main intersection. I enjoyed a meal...of pot roast and mashed potatoes like grandma used to make. My server was Neal and he was perfect. I finished my entire serving which is rare for me. The food was that good. I will be back to try other menu selections soon. It was the right meal at the right time.....Thanks!More

When in doubt the local Irish Pub, like an old friend, can always be counted on for good food and Guiness. So found Sully's and not disappointed.

Stopped Saturday at 3:30 for an early dinner. Waitress gave us menus and we told her to give us a minute to order drinks. We were then ignored for 20 minutes. Finally, a different waitress (Heather) asked if we'd been helped and took our drink...and appetizer order (French onion soup and 6 wing with bourbon sauce). Got the drinks and the soup within 5 minutes. Fifteen minutes later the waitress came back and asked if we were ready to order dinner. I said I hadn't gotten my wings. she went to the back and returned 5 minutes later to ask if I wanted sauce on the wings. At that point told her to cancel it and give me my bill. While not a regular at Sully's, we eat there about once a month and the service has been spotty but the food is okay. Unfortunately, after last night, it will be a long time before we go back if ever. Wish my "Irish Livers Matter" t-shirt didn't have their name plastered on the back of it.More

Came here during the Medina Ice Festival. Crowded, very crowded. However, we were told that the wait was 45 minutes, and we were seated well within that period. I asked our server Bangers and Mash, or Shepherds Pie? He suggested the pie. My girlfriend had...the Reuben. I should have gotten the sandwich... Service was great! Busy, but it was efficient and timely. I will say that my girlfriend loved the Reuben! The shepherds pie was garlic mashed potatoes on top of their “famous” Irish stew. This was way different than any SP than I’ve ever had. The Irish stew base had giant, and I mean giant pieces of celery, carrots, and potatoes in it. Great for stew.... SP...? When I say giant, it was a huge, single piece mouthful of each. It was also way under seasoned. Dinty Moore may have made better stew tonight? As far as the garlic mash went... also under seasoned, and the garlic was aged. Pre cut/minced garlic has a “gasoline” type aroma, and so did this dish. Edible, but not great. While not awful, the service and atmosphere might bring me back again, the food from the first experience will not.More

Eight of us absolutely enjoyed our dinners ranging from Pot Roast, Chicken Pot Pie, Bangers & potatoes, to Parmesan crusted chicken. Every dinner was spot on! The roast beef was so tender and flavorful like wise with all other meals. Loved the appetizer egg rolls...filled with cabbage, corned-beef and swiss cheese and the cabbage and noodle side dish. All dinners reasonably priced around $ 15.00. Very friendly and hard working staff. We left around 7:30 pm just as a solo musician was about to take the stage. A nice selection of beers and drinks. Very friendly crowd and family friendly place to go. Our first time, but not our last! D & V of Wooster, OhioMore
