Stopped here on our way to NY. They gave an extensive menu and all of their food seems to be home made. There were not a lot of vegetarian options so I ordered the veggie fajitas. Unfortunately, it came with what tasted like a sugary soy sauce glaze that I did not like & therefore did not eat half the... More

My friend and I were greeted and seated in a comfortable booth. The restaurant is decorated for Valentine's Day and was spotless. The friendly waitress read us the specials which included several homemade soups. I had a BLT on sourdough with a cup of corn chowder. So delicious. For dessert there is a large selection of homemade pies. I had... More

If you are tired of fast food while traveling, take an extra 30 minutes and have a real meal. I had the meatloaf dinner and my wife had the special, chicken pot pie. Both were plentiful and good. Real mashed potatoes with the meatloaf. Worth the stop. Great waitress. Located right along I-90.

The fried shrimp, Amazing! The cherry and chocolate pie, Amazing! Everything was just sooooo good. Highly recommended. Wish I lived in the area so I... More

Do I need to say any more? I guess one more thing. The gluten free food is excellent! Even the cake!

On our way back from Cleveland to home in NY, stopped for late lunch. Pros: fried chicken very good - juicy and not to much breading, friendly service, mashed potatoes were scratch and tasty. Cons: chili just okay, rolls stale, salad was mediocre, hash browns not crispy, chicken gravy was tasteless and to thick, manager sat right in front as... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to give us your feedback. I appreciate your kind words and interestingly enough we are currently reworking our beef and chicken gravy recipes. Hopefully next time we will have them implemented. We will keep working on the areas you suggested. I agree 100% with you about working up front unfortunately at the time... More

With 2 nice dining areas to choose from I ended up at the small counter. Stopped in on a Friday and chose the fish fry dinner. There are many good menu items here and the food looks closer to homemade than most places. Nicely breaded and tasty fish were served to me. Good fries. The treat was the apple sauce... More
