Nice ambience, good food and good service. Love the steak and the sides, with a glass of nice red wine.

I don't typically go to chain restaurants (but it was not up to me) and I was reminded why. They were busy and clearly not staffed correctly. Food was sub par and drinks took forever to come out. If staying in Independence, wanting steak and not having kids with you I would suggest spending the bit of extra money and... More
The decor was excellent and put you into the right frame of mind to enjoy a wonderful meal. The food was served hot and in generous portions. Our waitress was very efficient and knowledgable about the menu items and we totally enjoyed our meal. No room for dessert though.
I had lunch with two associates at the restaurant. Two ordered burgers with fries and I had the strawberry and pecan salad and a bowl of French Onion soup. My colleagues said the burgers were very good as was the French Onion soup. My salad greens were fresh and crispy and the dressing delicious but the amount of strawberries and... More
I actually had the prime rib, not steak. I ordered it medium rare and that's how I got it. Most chain steakhouses screw up and either over or under cook it. Waitstaff was knowledgeable and very accommodating. Did not have to order a refill of my beverage. When my server saw I was running low she came over with another.... More
Usually I really enjoy going to Long Horn when I am traveling. However, having had two meals there in two nights this past week, I can tell you that there is a leadership problem at this Long Horn. On Fri afternoon we went to have an early dinner. There were not very many people in the restaurant and plenty of... More

Finished w a Baileys. Staff great, very attentive to an old guy at the end of the bat. By 7pm on a Monday it was full, that tells... More
I know most people expect a review about steak. But I wanted to talk about an amazing appetizer that I had. Fried Portobellos with a spicy ranch dipping sauce. The breading was not too heavy and perfectly complimented the mushrooms and sauce.
Thank You Very Much, Always! What a Great Prime Rib You Have, Always. Ha ha ha, We don't want to repeat, but seriously You have 1 of the Best Prime Rib. Your Appetizers and side dishes are Great, also. Deserts are Excellent, too. Service with smile and Everything We asked for and Promptly. Thank You . Great Steakhouse for Any... More
All of the staff are very courteous and friendly from the moment you enter the restaurant. The decor is very pleasant and fun to look at while waiting for your order. The food was very delicious, particularly anything on the steak menu. Flo's Filet, the New York Strip, the Porterhouse, were all delicious. The steamed asparagus was mouth watering with... More
