Stopped in at the Swingin Anchor cafe for lunch and was not at all disappointed. Friendly efficient service and large portion of piping hot food was enjoyed. Thoroughly recommend this place for lunch out.

We will not go back. Just wanted coffees. They Came, after chasing, in take away cups we had not asked for. Seems they wanted rid of us. I think understaffed and got caught with a busy Sunday lunch

Thankyou for your review. Yes unfortunately for you, you obviously arrived during our busiest times yesterday. I would like you to know, that two of our current Staff members had only commenced working at the Café and Chocolate Shop two weeks ago. You may appreciate that both of our shops are always extremely busy and some people are quite impatient... More

Pretty much the only place we found for breakfast and lunch that cater for coeliacs. We also asked for a vegan breakfast which they were happy to give us what they could...ended up being quite nice and we came back for toasted sandwiches for lunch. All reasonably priced and most of the staff were friendly, though some seemed quite flustered... More

Defiantly would recommend to everyone!! Salt and pepper squid is a MUST get! Service was fantastic, didn't even have to wait very long for our lunch and they were very busy in there!😍

Ellie and all her staff were very warm and friendly, the food was amazing and the coffee was to die for. This is a must when in Stanley, have also heard her scallop pies are a must, by the reviews, well done Ellie..

We had a late lunch at this little cafe on the Esplanade ... the staff were welcoming and friendly. The tea was great as was the chicken wrap... yum! I would definitely recommend it was lunch or just an afternoon snack after a nice walk throughout the village.

This is a beautiful location and a lovely little cafe but the service was off putting when we got one meal and never got the second. That's fine, mistakes happen, but then we were told it was our fault for not speaking up and no apology from the waitress. When finally got it the fish was cold in the middle.

The owner of this cafe Ellie was very friendly and welcoming. Family recommended the pies to us and we were impressed. There was abundant scallops and salmon in the seafood mornay pies, served with a delicious salad. Milkshakes were old style in the stainless steel canisters, and were a very generous serving. A gorgeous setting in the Main Street of Stanley... More

I have a coffee every day and this has to be the best coffee I've ever had! Great taste, perfect temperature, great price and friendly service to top it off! I had to ask where they sourced their beans from and turns out its a local company that roasts in Devonport! perfect! I'll be purchasing some before I travel back... More
