Like most Oz RSL's nice atmosphere and reasonable meal prices. Interesting new menu with some non-standard items thereon. Prompt service and good meal presentation. Can definitely recommend as the only other main venue is the local hotel restaurant.

New Chef makes all the difference. Past reports had not been good... The meals were plain simple and the fish was fresh. It is not fancy... but 2 bits of fresh flake, chips and a decent salad for $20 can't be bad?

Been here a few times, had lovely food and the prices are good. But have had a few let down dishes with cold chips etc.

We went on a Friday night, the meat raffle was on lots of prizes. The meal we had was well cooked, good proportions and a good price. We would go again the next time we are in St Helens.

It is very disappointing to receive such comments, especially when the facts are not true. 1. Scallops were on the menu last Friday only (4th August). 2. Scallop season commenced approx. 1 month ago and they were fresh Tasmanian scallops. 3. Chowder has not been...More
