Wanted to visit here but was closed every day we were in St Helens. Opening times listed on the door stated it should have been open.

This was my 3rd time there over a 9 year period, The owner is a genuine bloke always up for a chat. It is a small but cosy venue. It really shouldn't be judged as a restaurant, it should be considered a bar or a speak easy.

Great place for a drink or great snacks. Great service and attitude. Good music on some nights. The cheese plate was very generous not like many places where you get a stingy portion.

"Cafe" - i wouldn't put this place in that category. I was super excited to try for lunch (i believe a Friday) and it was closed. So, if everyone could stop naming it as a "cafe" and stick with wine bar, that'd be great. (from memory, opens at 6??) WILL be back though.

We visited this cafe and thought it was fun and a great casual place to have a cold drink and light dinner. The food was tasty and well priced, so too were the drinks! The service was friendly and welcoming. A great little niche bar.

This place left a lasting impact for which we are ashamed to admit we failed to recognise with a review before now. We stopped there in November 2014. An unassuming location offering genuine care, a homely environment, a good range of meals and a cracking selection of wine. It was like popping in to your best mates house for a... More

Dropped into this quaint little bar on a wednesday night. No live music as it was mid week but the music playing on the big screen was great. Very friendly barman owner. Took the time to explain his venue and up coming attractions. Looks like summer will be all go. The menu wonderful especially being a non meat eater. There... More

Good place to catch up with friends in St Helens (though the music is a bit loud for intimate conversation). Nice atmosphere including an outdoor area. Good food including bar snacks. Lovely friendly service and a good range of drinks.

Having just moved to St Helens and loving live music I'm always looking for somewhere to enjoy the talent of a musician. Crossroads is a small intimate setting with wholesome food. Being a vegetarian I liked seeing pumpkin soup on the menu. The owner is very vibrant and obviously loves his little jaunt. I went to listen to Julianne a... More
