Beautiful flake but quite small as were the chips. We like big fat chips and good fat flake. Obviously we'll pay for quality, we did here but the servings were not very generous.

Ha ha ha my husband cannot eat fish that smells😂 Skippers was delicious, fresh, well cooked and NO fish smell! The scallops, prawns and calamari all delicious. Fish was flaky, soft, and YUM! People sitting next to us got the chowder which also looked amazing,...More

Haven’t been here since new operators have taken over. Good value for money had the captains seafood basket @ $25 couldn’t fault anything and I will go back well worth a try. Staff super friendly

Skippers is not a fancy eatery but a quirky, low key take away/eatery on an old blue steamer. Loved the fish and chips here. We ordered the Captains Box (2x flake, 2x calamari, 4x scallops, 4x prawns and chips)for $25 and it was delicious. Batter...More

We joined the throngs of people waiting in line to order and hoped for good things. We were not disappointed. The seafood was fresh and beautifully cooked. The staff were efficient and friendly. Most definitely worth a visit.

Stopped here on our way to Bay of Fires and we were so glad we did. We got the Captains pack with an extra piece of fish, 6 oysters & a fish burger. Plenty of food for the 4 of us. The fish & prawns...More

We enjoyed eating here. Very friendly staff and scrumptious food. We had the Skippers Seaford Basket. The fish particularly was delicious probably the best I have tasted. Very pleasant to eat in a relaxed spot overlooking the water. Highly recommended.

Really like what we ordered, the seafood chowder was delicious! Great atmosphere being on the water. Seating is limited, portion sizes were on the smaller side and a little more expensive then some of the other places in TAS.

Great atmosphere and great food. Only gripe would be why do you close at 2.30 on Sundays? I can understand the winter months but not January when there are so many people around. :(

Hi there. Not sure what the question is either. I actually LOVED Mohr & Smith so I didn't dislike all of the St Helens restaurants I went to. The "atmosphere" on the Paddle Wheeler is ok for tourists and, considering the... More
