For movie buffs and in particular Erol Flyn this would be a very interesting place. For anyone looking for a reasonably priced meal with good service you will be slightly disappointed. We ordered meat pasties with medium chips. After waiting far too long, it was only when we had taken our purchase away and taken a bite we found out... More

We stopped in for lunch on the drive from Hobart to Launceston and we're very glad we did. The shop is covered in movie memorabilia, mostly of Errol Flynn which made for an interesting stop. The pies are absolutely incredible, in particular the creamy scallop pie was life changing. I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

If you like the movies then this place is must visit. It's full of Eroll Flynn and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. The food was great too. Open at 7am for that early morning cup of tea. The other side of the building is the local bar, which is like stepping back in time to the 1950's. All in all a great... More

Not the best or cheapest fare but if you are a movie buff or like Errol Flynn then it is a must see. The memorabilia is plentiful and very interesting.

Killer scallop pies, extremely friendly service. I came into the pub part last night and and asked for the bartender to turn on the women's afl. She immediately started to look for it on TV. It ended up not being on TV due to the men's but we had a chat about women's footy as we both used to play.... More

Stopped in here for coffee on our way through town. Great little bakery/café decked out with heaps of Errol Flynn & Marylyn Munroe movie memorabilia & old movie lights etc. Creates a great atmosphere while you a dining and checking out the bits and pieces on every wall. Friendly staff and good service. What was the coffee like? Great with... More

This place was amazing! Not only is the food good and a great hot coffee, which is just what you need on a long drive across the state, but the ambiance really took the cake. Its an old movie inspired place with photos and movie paraphernalia all over the cafe. You could spend hours just reading the walls and make... More

We visited this place around lunch time and had the creamy sauce scallop and pepper steak pies. The sauce inside the scallop pie was the consistency of milky yaywater and literally filled my plate when cut open. It even squirted onto the table. The pie base was completely uncooked. In contrast the pepper steak pie contained dried out meat and... More
