A great bar with art books and a top class restaurant: I was so comfortable here even dining alone. Try everything! The pizzas and the more Mod Oz dishes.

Love this little motel. Rooms are furnished in a kind of quirky way but feel really homely and comfortable. Staff are always friendly. You also get real milk for your tea and coffee

A group of friends and I decided to try The Junction for our evening out. I had walked past many times but hadn't ventured in. Well I'm so glad that I did this time! The atmosphere was friendly and quirky, something interesting to look at everywhere you turned which got our little group talking straight off. Our host for the... More

Great smoked chicken pizza and yummy pecan tart. One hell of a joker, the owner is. And so generous with his extras - wine, beer, banana split, pecan tarts. Best meal in Tasmania!

The Boss makes a mean wood fired pizza & the roast lamb special for $26 along with a mint "sauce" that looks innocuous but is full of flavour, was a great way to finish a busy day. Their Tarmar (sic) Pinot Noir was well priced and had more body than most. If you are staying then their continental breakfast also... More

The place doesn't give much away when you just drive past but its definitely worth turning in and having a look for yourself. Once you drive in the driveway it starts to come to life with some very quirky art works and design. The beds are comfy and the rooms are a good size.. from there when you venture into... More

Artsy, quirky motel. Clean but basic rooms. Best part is the friendly service from hotel manager, fresh milk in old fashioned glass bottles and all you can eat continental breakfast!

This motel had very reasonable rates. The rooms were clean and serviceable though in need of a few licks of paint. The restaurant was eclectic and the food good. It is jam-packed with odds and ends in the Victorian style. We liked it & found it cosy. If you prefer severe straight simple spaces then it might not be for... More
