You can tell from the flavour that the owner/chef grinds his own spices and makes everything from scratch. We had the chef's special goat curry and it was sensational. A little lacking in flavour

Having recently moved to the area, I was looking for a decent Indian and saw the great reviews here. We didn’t dine in opting for takeout. I have to say that after the great reviews I expected more & was sadly disappointed. The Chicken korma...was extremely runny, not like a sauce or gravy should be and usually is, it tasted very bland in flavour and the as disappointing. My partner felt the same with his meal. The restaurant looked busy and there seemed to be a bit of confusion at the counter with the picking up of takeaway meals too. I won’t be rushing back.More

Best Indian food we have EVER eaten

We have the most amazing food here. I always order butter chicken because I love it so much however I tried the chief’s special of goat and we weren’t disappointed. The flavours were amazing. Not too hot and just so tasty. We shared 2 entrees,...a main,a rice & nan bread. Then Sujeeth bought out a special dessert he has created - it’s fig and honey and a little like ice cream but not- wow it was amazing 🤩 I will come back here for sure!More

Love This Restaurant 💖🌼

This is my favourite Indian. My usual order is Samosas, Lamb Nawabi and Peshwari Naan. Flavours are amazing and the service is always great, friendly and efficient.

Intensity of flavour classic indian. A hidden gem in Devonport.

This is a quiet and well situated restaurant. We watched the Spirit of Tasmania sail past down the Mersey river. We had Saagwala, Malabri prawns (bot exceptional), and pepperfry. This little gem needs to be on everyone's radar when visiting Devonport.

Great service and tasty large meals

Delicious food, large portion sizes. Very professional service, clearly explained about rice serving size. Naan breads were large and tasty. Look forward to next time.

Amazing Indian

We had dinner here tonight as a last minute option before going on the spirit of tasmania and was not disappointed with our order. Staff were lovely and suggested I go for medium not hot and glad I listened as medium was very spicy.. 10/10...would go back.More

Great Indian dining

A sensational meal at SKs. Had onion bhaji (very generous size), butter chicken, aloo mattar and garlic naan. The food was prompt, piping hot and perfectly spiced (we opted for medium 🙂) and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend
