Cannot fault the garden or ales apart from the price tag but "Inn" is misleading, the management have nailed their colours firmly to the mast and this is a restaurant/eatery with no real accommodation for those wishing to just have a relaxing drink and chat....We visited as a small group for a "drink" but quickly realised there was no provision in the way of seating or tables for drinkers so we made a polite inquiry as to where we might drink our cask ale and the garden was suggested, luckily it was a mild if somewhat overcast day and so we skulked off to the garden feeling slightly chastened that we were not dining customers, we had intended to make an afternoon of it but our enthusiasm was now dampened and so we drunk up and adjourned to the Pub in nearby E Wittering where we spent a delightful time amongst locals & visitors enjoying a traditional drinkers pub.More

We Visited today for a Sunday roast. Very impressed. Excellent food & excellent service & great value. Would 100% recommend.

Ate here Friday 30th Sep. Good friendly and efficient staff and very nice venue but its not an Inn, its a restaurant so no real bar area to stand and chat. Starter of squid very good and tasty but fish and chips disappointing. Suspect the...fish was coley, wet and tasteless therefore expensive for what it was. Beer was well kept but also expensive at £5:30 a pint.More

We had a delicious meal at this gorgeous old pub/restaurant for our wedding anniversary. Absolutely loved the decor, great ambiance, service was spot on and they took great care with my meal, as I have multiple food allergies. Always a joy not to have any...subsequent repercussions after a meal out, so very grateful that they tried so hard.More

Having seen previous reviews, we were wondering if we were making the right decision to eat here despite it being the closest establishment to where we were staying. We need not have worried as everything from start to finish was perfect. Friendly staff, lovely decor,...clean and the food was amazing. We had starters and mains, everything came to our table quickly and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. Pleased we went!!More

We visited this pub on the bank holiday weekend, on the recommendation of a local friend. Had the smoked platter board. £25 for 3-bone ribs, sweetcorn, bubble ‘n’ squeak, a ramekin of lamb stew and a chicken thigh. Staff friendly enough, but not as attentive...as could have been. Would have had another 3 drinks each between 3 of us. Too over priced for not very good food.More

Went with my parents and kids on holiday . The menu has something for everyone and staff were friendly and helpful . Food was nice

Giant climbing frame with dozens of screaming kids was deafening. I'm sure this palce is perfect if you have children but it's certainly no setting for a couple. I ordered the mushroom burger and it was tasteless, soggy and inedible and I never leave anything....The waitress took the barely touched plate back without asking why it was left. Service was attentive but detached, waitstaff were unengaging and seemed to care very little. Was recommended this pub by a guest house down the road. Over priced and underwhelming. Almost painful. We were not disappointed with our visit this week. They were very welcoming to both us and our furry friend and made us feel very welcome. Food was lovely and very tasty. A big thumbs up if you do have a dog and a place...we will def return to.More

Unfortunately the food was so unpleasant the smoked half chicken was inedible and the fish risotto equally unpleasant and gave my wife food poisoning. Avoid this pub for dining, ok for a beer in the garden I suppose.
