Sunday lunch here was sensational; the roasts were first-rate as were the "fish and chips". We brought our family of 10 including children to eat here, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. New ownership meant there was no website - this was a recommendation from...More

The Hollist Arms has changed hands a few times over the years. Someone I know, the famous Emma, is now running it. We had a very good experience there. On a very busy Bank Holiday day. All up I would say good to very good....More

We visited The Hollist Arms in Lodsworth on a Saturday lunchtime. This pub is recently under new management and it was buzzing. Emma and partner Andy (the chef) have certainly got things right here. The pub is bright and welcoming and also has a lovely...More

Really nice and friendly pub. Food excellent and restaurant quality rather than pub food. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Not that I noticed. The back garden is a sort of yard so I suppose children might be able to play there. It's in a very quiet peaceful setting with a green to the front.

Description
The Hollist Arms is at the heart of the picturesque village of Lodsworth, West Sussex. We are a traditional village pub offering local ales, an excellent wine list and simple, high quality food with an emphasis on the best local ingredients. The pub has a bar area that is often busy with village locals, a restaurant, snug, and private dining and function rooms upstairs. Outside there are tables on the tiny village green that are popular with walkers, and behind us a lovely secluded pub garden.
