We occasionally try other curry houses, but we always return to The Curry Republic. Customer service is superb, the food is amazing and we've never had a bad experience.
Last night, my son asked for a dish they couldn't prepare (no scallops), but they went through the options with him - what was it he wanted and suggested they make a fish jalfrezi (not on the menu). When it arrived, it was superb - just the right strength/flavour.
Both my (mixed biryani) and my wife's (chicken tika masala) currys were really really good too.
Can't fault them. We'll be back (again and again).

I visited this fine establishment on a cold evening in Henley in Arden. My daughter and I had a selection of starters, tarka dall and a freshly baked herbie naan bread all cooked by the Chef/owner Raj!
I must say (a chef myself), that the standard of food was very high. Spices just right and less food colouring. It was very appetising ... I cannot wait to return again!

Henley is about half way for meeting some friends and we fancied a curry and we were not disappointed. All 5 of us enjoyed the food ranging from Vindaloo to Chicken Tikka Masala. Staff were spot on and all in all I’d certainly make the effort to return. It’s only small (about 25 covers) and had a very lively atmosphere which was probably helped by England winning the rugby !

Really good service and excellent freshly cooked tasty food. One of the best Indian restaurants we have eaten in. We had poppadoms and chutneys and then sheek kebab, lamb tikka and chicken pakora starters followed by Garlic Chilli Chicken, Chicken Tikka Massala and chicken Murgh Tawa with egg fried rice and garlic, keema naan. All of the dishes exceeded our expectations. We have visited other Indian restaurants in the area, but this is now our favourite.

Never been before and thought it looked a bit worn from the outside. However, the restaurant inside is small and immaculate. You can see straight into the kitchen as food is being prepared which I loved. Being of Indian origin myself I can be quite fussy about Indian food, this was cooked perfect and the flavours were delicious. The service was exceptional. Definitely be visiting again.

We 'discovered' The Curry Republic from Trip Advisor recommendation and how pleased we are to discover this 'fantastic gem in Henley-in-Arden.
This 'authentic' Bangladeshi owned restaurant, provided delicious, freshly cooked dishes, that you don't usually find in a 'typical' Indian restaurant.
You could taste all the spices and fragrant ingredients.
Its small, so we were lucky to get in and it was very reasonably priced, good portion sizes and nice cold draught Kingfisher! Friendly and knowledgeable waiters, making this visit a real joy and ensuring a repeat trip very soon!

This place is unreal. The food surpassed expectation, as an avid curry lover I’m quite picky where I go. This is my regular as it honestly surpasses expectation. If you’re a fan of a “real curry” this is your go-to. Book to avoid disappointment as it fills up quick

I ordered a takeaway online and the delivery time was selected for 638pm one hour later nothing so I called they said its best to call as we are busy well don't offer an online service if you can't cope.. They assured me the driver was on his way 5 mins.. I had to be at work at 8pm and the curry still hadn't arrived.. My neighbour advised me you turned up at 830pm sorry 2 hours late is unacceptable and as I was at work I grabbed a sandwich.. I understand you were busy but no courtesy call you dearly hadn't checked online and pretended the food was on its way not good service.. Shame we have always enjoyed your food but the service is shocking.

First time we have used Curry Republic and it won't be the last! We used the delivery service, the food was ordered for a 7pm delivery, it arrived bang on time, delivery driver was so polite, and the food was piping hot.
I cannot tolerate nuts or coriander, I let the guy know when I placed the order, he said he would let the chef know and he did. My curry was the best I have ever tasted, succulent large pieces of chicken and not a nut or coriander in sight. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal too.
So, pleased I have found a local restaurant who listened to what I had ordered!
I highly recommend Curry Republic and we will definitely use again.

Popped in for a takeaway whilst working in the area. Very basic restaurant but with some interesting Indian themed art and an open kitchen so you can see the chefs in action. I thought the food was average at best really. Madras was well spiced but overall I thought the meal was average at best.

Small restaurant, furnished functionally, not the place to go for atmosphere but then you don't always go for a curry for the surroundings.Pleasant greeting and efficient service from staff. Some different items on the menu, good choice of fish, some dishes really good but not all - salmon can vary and theirs tasted like the the cheaper stuff. Ordered pistacchio kulfi and got almond (which wasn't on menu). When this was pointed out they replied "Almond is very good" and walked off without offering to take it back. It was good kulfi, but that's not really the point..

Just had a lovely family meal here, the food was absolutely lovely and everything tasted so fresh. I had the chicken biryani which is my favourite curry and i can honestly say its one of the best i’ve ever had (& i’ve had many over the years!) The staff are all lovely & very welcoming, it’s the 1st time we’ve ventured out to eat as a family since the lockdown happened but the staff are clearly doing everything they possibly can to protect both themselves & us at this difficult time, including great Cleanliness and the track & trace. We’ll definitely be going back soon!

Last night I had delivered a Chicken and King Prawn Biriyani and my wife had a Murgh Khata Jaal (probably incorrect spelling) and the food was magnificent and I do mean magnificent. Best takeaway we have ever had and this restaurants quality never fails...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !.

Rang on the off chance of a reservation, was seated within 10 minutes of phone call!
Food was delicious, waiter was absolutely spot on and attentive.. beer was ice cold! Just the way we like it.. thank you very much and we will be back for more.. recommend to anyone!

Last night my family went back to our favourite Indian restaurant and all I can say is it was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. The meal was the best we have ever had, not just there but in any Indian Restaurant in U.K.. Thank you to all the staff for a fab visit. And we are so pleased that we chose to dine in. See you again soon.
