Four people went for lunch. We all ordered starters and a main course. After a long wait the main courses arrived but no starters. When we complained to the waitress she said that the starter orders had not been put through to the kitchen, strange...More

I will start with - I love sitting outside this pub in the summer and having a pint. We went for Fathers day and it wasn't great. The old landlady was a dragon, the new lovely. The team were short staffed, this isn't the first...More

Went for dinner last night and got to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. The table seemed to be crawling with ants so they probably ought to address that (yes I know you should expect it being outdoors). Food arrived and was just ok rather...More

Garden on a sunny evening is unbeatable. Food pretty good - excellent burger and calimari - ales were Whitstable Bay pale and Masterbrew & bottle of Pinot Grigio was good. Big car park tucked to the side. Sit and watch the sun go down over...More

Three of us had an evening meal here and despite it being busy the service was prompt and courteous. The food was really excellent, can particularly recommend the Calamari starter and the Liver & Bacon. Portion size was spot on, staff brilliant, just cannot fault...More

Last came here 12 years ago. Said we wouldn't come back. This time, we'd gone to the Queen's Head for Sunday lunch but they weren't serving food so wondered to the Inn on the Pond as a last resort. It was busy. Fair enough. But...More

I can't fault a great pub. The food and service have always been great - even when we asked for sandwiches outside in the middle of winter. Good choice of ales. Perfect pub - my new favourite.

We went here spur of the moment on Saturday early evening. We have driven past on many occasion but it looked inviting with lots of tables outside and had heard good reviews on food recently. We chose to sit in the bar although a table...More

Last minute decision to dine out, chose the 'pub'. Not busy on this Monday in April, but not empty for a dull damp evening: just enough people to make a nice atmosphere, & keeping the staff working. Nice surroundings, staff pleasant & efficient. Drinks good...More

Lovely setting, family and dog friendly. Some good options on the menu. In particular the sausage sandwich with wholegrain mustard served with a jug of onion gravy. The place was slightly understaffed on our visit but the food was worth waiting for. Special mention goes...More

Description
Situated adjacent to Nutfield Cricket pitch with fantastic views over Nutfield Marshes, The Inn on the Pond is a quintessental English Surrey country pub. The Inn on the Pond, as a traditional pub, offers a large bar area for drinking as well as a separate dining room and bar dining area. A log burner and open fireplace create a cosy pub atmosphere on winters days. The team in the kitchen create good pub menus of freshly cooked and locally sourced food which is served both indoors and outside by the pond. We are open for lunch and dinner througout the week, and all day on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays. As the Inn is situated on the main cycle routes near Redhill and ajacent to the Nutfield Marshes Conservation area it is also popular with walkers and cyclists - both of whom are welcome. In fact we have our own wellie wall! There is a large car park to the side of the pub. Your host is Penny Appel and she and her team look forward to welcoming you.
