Not the very best of Turkish type restaurants but this place is clean, near the railway station and roomy. The food was pretty OK, nothing fabulous but a comprehensive menu. I have had many better mezes (both hot and cold are offered) but the main...More

During August and September my husband and I have been going regularly to Cappadocia, actually being there 3 times. The food is just marvelous and the attention of the staff is super. The other thing we discovered was the lovely set menu at lunchtime from...More

I just wanted to thank the staff at Cappadocia for everything they did for my Birthday last night. A fantastic night was had by all, the food, the staff and the service are always impeccable and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. I...More

Firstly-the food is to DIE FOR. Secondly, the servers were friendly and the atmosphere was incredible. I've been here once but i'll be sure to return again, from what I hear they do belly dancing from time to time too, which would be quite a...More

We visited Cappadocia for lunch, it a Turkish restaurant and is located on Fife street which also contains a number of other middle eastern restaurants. Cappadocia is a bit more upmarket and a bit more expensive than the other restaurants on the street. Portion size...More

A group of 12 of us went and we all thought that the food, service and value for money were excellent. I started with a cheese dish which was too (Chilli) hot for me - the waitress immediately said to exchange it for any other...More

Been here a handful of times, in a group and as a couple. Mainly food is good and wines are great but it's overpriced for what it is (£105 for no starters, 3 meals, 4 alcoholic drinks, 1 dessert & 3 coffees). On our most...More

First time visit to this place. Thought I'd try the mixed kebab to sample the quality of the meats generally. Must admit when the meal arrived I was surprised by the portion size. The meal was tasty and good quality. I also sampled the Efes...More

Have visited several times and have enjoyed the evenings with my friends. Food is genuinely tasty and pleasantly served. Atmosphere is friendly and staff helpful. Noise level quite high but mainly coming from people enjoying themselves. If you are in a rush, forget it. This...More

We started out in Kingston in 2001 and opened our Walton restaurant in June 2014. Our owner, executive chef, and many of our staff are Turkish and they have proudly drawn on their heritage to create a little corner of Turkey in the UK. Our food is cooked by chefs who were brought up with traditional Turkish cooking and who have been trained to the highest standards in Istanbul. We want you to enjoy the true taste of Turkey so the interiors of both restaurants are designed with Turkish decor. And all food is served in authentic Turkish cooking utensils such as clay pots. THE ORIGINS OF OUR NAME According to ancient history, Cappadocia was the birthplace of St George. It means "the land of beautiful horses and was an extensive inland district of Asia Minor, which is now modern Turkey. The first settlers built their homes into stone cliffs and burrowed their cities underground. Today tourists are drawn to Cappadocia by its unusual scenery, and of course to stay in a cave hotel.
