The best Indian restaurant in Tamworth, my wife and I always have a lovely time here. Its nice and friendly, and the food is so good it should be rammed every night. Its nice to have a quiet romantic meal with a great host, but they deserve to be busier than this. Each time we go its quiet. I advise anyone who wants a delicious dish, served by lovely people at reasonable prices, to give this place a try. We are quite fussy when it comes to food, and this place never fails to impress.

Had a few lovely meals here, the food is always fantastic. Really good value as the do a deal seven days a week. We went as a 5 all adults and the staff were very helpful. Food arrived within a very fair amount of time even though they were very busy.

As usual I'll get the downside of things out of the way, beers are bottled and are expensive for what you get, and the toilets are upstairs, not great if your disabled and the hence the reason its not a 5* review. Thankfully this place is rarely busy, why I have no idea because I find it a really nice place to eat. I booked for a party of 7 an hour before we wanted to go, no problem. We arrived and there was another party of 8 which only left a few empty tables. The staff are friendly and polite, the place itself is clean and tidy and the food is superb with several dishes I have never tried before, all are well described and taste lovely, you are not rushed between courses and we left feeling full but not stuffed.

Ordered through Tamworth eats, waited nearly 2 hours for delivery and only received 3 of the 4 items- not a huge order-called and was told chips would be sent out. 30mins later a call to ask for our address- at this point the rest of the meal had been eaten or if we had waited would be cold.
First and last time customers. Would not recommend at all.

Myself and my wife, daughter & son in law and grandson (whom was 4 today) were staying nearby whilst visiting Drayton manor. We went to the Miah Tandoori for our evening meal. The food and service was first class, looked after superbly by the lovely lady working there. Thank you very much. 👍

Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and beautiful food. Prices around average compared to other restaurants in the area.
Portions were good. We had starters and a main and both courses were cooked to perfection. Haven't visited previously, but will definitely return!

What a gem of a place I’ve been to many Indian restaurants in Tamworth but I have to say Miah tandoori restaurant is my best experience without a doubt service and quality of food was excellent ill definitely be returning.

I come here all the time and tonight your staff member has been very rude to me on the phone:
He tried to charge me extra and I know the prices as I always have same order.
Usually the man who takes orders always know it’s me when I call… he says my address and repeats my order without me saying:
Tonight this new man not good!
I am good customer and he make me never want to come back again.

We have a take away most weekend from the miah and occasionally eat in (when I was allowed)
I’ve never had a bad meal, always arrives hot and is exceptionally delicious.
I highly recommend the king prawn sagwalla 😋

How nice in these hard times,we are a couple in our late 70s and cannot get out

The Miahs web page displays a food Hygeine rating of 5 but Rate my place has it as a 1.The 5 rating is from 2016 but the current rating is 1 as of november 2019,I won`t be eating here again until the rating has improved substantially.

lovley, and I mean lovley food. Plenty there, service was amazing, popadoms,starter and food came in less than an hour, the 2 men that served us were friendly and very lovely. As 2 young girls, we were very impressed as we had a full night of things to do, and only had 2 hours until our next activity. We ended up being an hour early, price was amazing and all round one of the best Indians I have been to. Very quiet and all round very pleased. Recommend to people in the area.
