Heard a lot about The Red Lion so we came to see for ourselves. Had an enjoyable lunch in pleasant surroundings, although wasn’t so warm for me. Food was delicious and service was ok. Will probably return and recommend to others.

The service and meal was excellent. Very good real ales and friendly staff. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Open all day for food when we went (not sure about Winter). Good range of snacks and fine dining.
