Modern and delicious food served with grace and in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the 3 course a la carte menu which was very reasonably priced and great choice and so delicious.

I have just posted a review of the hotel where this restaurant is. Unfortunately there is too much wrong - mainly a conglomeration of little things which added up to disappointment - with the hotel, but we ate in this restaurant each evening and we had really good food. I can't see this restaurant in the AA Guide, but mine... More
Take a seat in the wing backed chairs in the bar or in a window seat (which are heated!) have your order taken over a G&T and take a seat in the restaurant when collected. Sit back and enjoy perfectly cooked, elegantly presented food, professionally served. The sous vide lamb was particularly good - personally not had better since 1981....
We had a truly excellent evening at Ston Easton. As we came down the drive, magical lights lit up the building and grounds. We received a lovely welcome upon arrival and were shown to the luxurious large lounge, with towering Christmas tree, for pre dinner champagne. The dining room also gave a fantastic ambiance. The food (all courses) was delicious.... More
I took my wife here for her birthday and we both loved it. The taster menu was excellent value, only £26 for wonderfully presented food, that tasted as good as it looked. The chef had clearly worked very hard to create a balanced menu with 5 dishes that worked well together. For those who watch a lot of cookery on... More
My husband and I had Wonderful 5 course taster lunch on Saturday. The flavours and presentation of the food was exquisite. The vegetables were fresh and well executed. The chocolate desert was devine with a rich velvet texture. Every detail was well thought out. We had visited Verona a week or two before and as I am a real foody... More
Went for taster lunch. After driving over the assault course to get there (potholes everywhere). The house is splendid and well appointed. Gin and tonics to start, very expensive, £26 menus, pasta fresh probably a week ago, bread arrived probably made last week and re-heated several times, Terrine was OK, sorbet was very good, main course of Turbot was adequate,... We had afternoon tea and again Dinner at this lovely hotel. The staff are lovely and friendly, but the head waiter, Thomas seems to be in need of a staff motivation and training development plan. Very rude to his staff, and to be honest if he is the chap who is meant to carry standards, he ain't the one for... More
Booked a table (note the word "table") for lunch here and explained that we were bringing two guests in their 80s who had small appetites so would probably just order food from their "light bites" menu or perhaps starters from the main menu (both shown on their website). On arrival we were directed to the lounge and Light Bites menus... More
