My wife and I went there this weekend. They managed to squeeze us in. I am not surprised it's popular as the food is excetional. So much thought has gone into the menu. I had the venison and it was superb. The dishes aren't large so if you are hungry I would certainly prepare for 3 courses. The Lord Poulett... More

We were recommended this pub/restaurant by someone whilst on holiday and loved it so much that we may even try to lodge there next time. There was a lovely friendly welcome to match the great food and service. I can see why it was recommended to us and we shall recommend it to everyone else now

I've wanted to eat at The Lord Poulett Arms for years now and as a nice surprise my wife arranged for us to dine her for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was just as I had hoped for, there's a good variation on the menu, we both had different courses and each really enjoyed our choices. The portions were perfect... More

The food was brilliant! The shared Lord Paulette Arms starter was a particular favourite, while the tasty carrot soup was served with a mini... More
