I went into the Tantivy to buy my husband a few select beers and a present for his birthday, I had my little boy with me so one hand was holding him! The boy behind the counter (I believe was the owners son) honestly couldn't have been any more helpful. He offered his help straight away, went and got a... More

We stopped at Tantivy on the way back from our walk. The service was fab and so was the coffee and wafer. I had an onion design on the top of my coffee. We sat outside as we had a dog with us. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop to friends.

The service you get is good nice staff but I wouldn't eat here not recommended as a place to eat not very warm in the place either . Shop is incredibly expensive I get things on line... More

This is a dog friendly cafe which is great news and open on Sundays which is also good. However, the tables were sticky and the upper room was a bit disorganised. Not really enough space to sit comfortably without knocking the tables. The coffee was good and served with a lovely little wafer biscuit. Earl grey is charged at speciality... More

Enjoyed a delicious cream tea here after a long walk through the woods. The scones were served warm and with really generous amounts of clotted cream and jam. We sat in the pleasant court yard on a crisp autumn day but there was adequate indoor seating which allowed dogs.

This shop cafe has many facets. There are special bottles of drinks, lots of local bottled ales, plus two local gins that I could see. To the rear was a lovely cafe/bistro style area the menu looked quite tempting, panninis etc. An large area for gifts, cards local history books, and foodie bits. Lots of local preserves, jams and honey.... More

The Tantivy is a well stocked newsagent and shop selling good wines through to greetings cards, with an excellent coffee shop cum restaurant, with an outside area for sunny days, and smokers! They do good coffee and an excellent bacon sandwich through to a generous full English breakfast, and anything in between, and all morning.

Stopped here for impromptu lunch several Saturday's ago. Food was pretty grim..we had the lunch time special of chicken, ham and leek pie which might have been lovely if heated properly in an oven rather than a microwave. The pastry was soggy and horrible... Service wasn't great either but to be fair, maybe it was the end of a busy... More

Visited Dulverton last Sunday, had a wander and had a visit to Tantivy, we had coffees and tea cake and full breakfast, sat outside as a glorious day, they were busy, however we enjoyed the chance to relax while we waited, everything was very good, delivered by very pleasant staff even though they were rushed off their feet, would definitely...
