Thursday 20th September – On a very rainy day, on our way to Farnham in Surrey. My husband and I made a stop late morning for a late breakfast at 12.30 at a pretty grey and cream bistro / cafe called ‘Coffee Smiths’ in Whitney....More

Great little coffee shop with a limited but tasty menu. We visit regularly when in Witney but never treat ourselves to cake... until today. The banana cake with peanut and honey is outstanding. Paul Hollywood would be giving it top marks! Highly recommend

Didn't feel there was any atmosphere. Could do with a clean and expensive. Staff tried their best but need training it appears.

A great little cafe, small but has a nice atmosphere and nice food. Two little tables to sit outside also.

A lovely coffee shop where the staff are polite and friendly. We tend to go on a Sunday when it's less busy, but always have a great cuppa and the cakes aren't too bad either

My favourite coffee shop in Witney, with a cool atmosphere and good snacks and coffee. Informal atmosphere, not expensive, independent, with spirit.

If you know about good coffee, do your self a favour and go elsewhere. A very average brew, you can get FAR better in Witney.More

Ahhhh, Yirg.....we've had a good read of your other reviews and see that you clearly take coffee extremely seriously. But, I'm afraid that I cannot agree that we know nothing about coffee. We actually know a great deal, which is why we don't use the...More

We had a bowl of soup which is served with toasted sourdough bread here and it is a great place to have a snack. Staff are friendly, it's a nice quieter spot just off the High St. Food was good.

We popped in for coffee and a snack while visiting Witney. The coffee was excellent and the grilled sandwiches were on real fresh bread and nicely presented. Not the cheapest but excellent quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Thanks for your kind words- our bread is sourced from a local baker and is very popular. Sarah
